Time for a change, mids!

Today our guild group went out in Emain to RVR for a bit. When we went out we had in our group agreed to not go near APK just stick to the "normal" route mmg / amg . After running around for a bout two hours without meeting more than soloing albs, we decided to suicide on APK. When our fg gets past AMG we see one mid group after another just moving in a train with 5 seconds in between each group to check out apk. Pretty eazy to figure out why we met no enemies its because of our own greedy realm players.

I can eazily understand why Albs camp apk and stay with many people just a bit outside. CAuse stupid mid groups comes one at a time to check it out and most of the time die or get some rps. The problem is that makes it extremely booring for normal groups with an attitude to not "camp" cause we wont be seeing a single alb unless they manage to whipe all those mids and then they are maybe 4-6 fg´s vs us.

All in all it´s a dead end situation and im seriously thinking of retiring from normal RVR to go PVP server purely cause of my own realm who makes ordinary RVR so booring. Only solution is mids dont go APK at all! cause the people that do it , wrowen the game for 2/3 of the RVR interested people in DAOC ( ALB/MID).

I haven't seen many mids out lately, infact more hibs.

I agree though, when my group goes near mpk i get very annoyed if they do try to camp it :E

But why the low amount of mids lately?also hibs come out more too ignore the whiners just come out :/

But then again not many albs have been rvring this week either, at least from what i have seen anyway, guess it's ToA.

The amount of mids was definitely not low today. I did /who emain and got 51 mids. But on the other hand i guess if i was an alb it was probably the same but all were at apk ( forced by mids ) . And the amount further out than amg of albs was 2 ?

We had a guild group out earlier and never met a fg of mids, so logged off about 2 hours ago, we only met puppethealer's hib group which we died to because we ran in the field below amg(speed reduction thing) as they came through which means instant death to some people in group xE

Not sure about now, i am not ingame so can't comment but it's good to see mids come out often, i saw a valour group only come out once and think yours came out this week i met once, even if you win a lot or lose a lot, go out there and give it your best try, nothing is impossible to kill.(bad omen beat us a lot lately but still we try to beat them)

Well lately midgard seems to have more rvr guilds, as far as i know it's only 4 guilds lately rvring(outcast/my guild/public enemies/angels of darkness also rigante seem to go out often too, usually other places than emain though i think,well PE do not seem to run groups often lately i think maybe due to getting the people online is hard for them at the moment?)

Hope to bring a group out later, do not care if we lose or win(afterall you only get better from learning from mistakes), i just like fighting opponents.Probably see you in rvr later

Wonder if rest of midgard will do the same, might actualy allow groups to forum without the constant fear/ease of 1fg after 1fg of mids passing below for easy rp's/putting ppl off

I don´t like the apk camping either. But after 40-60min of no enemies you are drawn to apk.

But our grp has found another way now... Just take a keep near the relics and u are set

just grab one of their keeps, then start farming them in Sauvage

You can even put it under the 'for the realm!' tag

its just what happens when there's a lot more of one realm in an area than the other's.

i dont know maybe because you decided to take a different route for a night, the rest of them should leave and give all the rp's to u?

I doubt it matters whether mids are camping apk or not. Reason it ends up at apk is either there isn't enough albs to venture out without being ganked by several mid groups with 10s in between them, or it's groups with 3xpally, lvl 47 cleric, necro, /powerlevelled sorc, merc, last slot free.

Without at least one optimized group out to smack mids around some, PUGs are unlikely to show up for the milking.
