playing through the PC version, its pretty good, there is no wow factor but its entertaining enough. I downloaded it because i refuse to pay EA any money (will make an exception for warhammer online) Its not worth £35 or whatever but its good for a rainy day.

Well I traded in a bunch of old, and frankly shit, PS2 games and got this for just over a tenner. Win Win.

Off to get my arse kicked. I haven't played an RTS properly, ever. Dawn of War doesn't count as I only played the Campaign (which was too easy) and my mate (who was shite).

Why did no one slag me for blatantly spelling this wrongly?

I only just noticed after opening the case that it's

TiberIUM wars.

Spazhands :/

My advice for online is be ready for the rush if you are playing against a Nod player if he is good he will have around 10-15 Scorpions in your base in under 5mins.

I have been playing Nod now since i got it and the rush never really fails.

I much prefer the 'rush' tactic so no worries. The reason I never really played RTS games before was the overuse of the defensive/tech-up strategy.

The control system works really well. It's a little cumbersome at first (if you're used to the keyboard/mouse combo) but it doesn't take long to get used to. All-in-all this looks like a really decent game.

.. got this earlier, it's pretty fun but man the fps can drop signifficantly at times to the point where it's embarrasing having a game run like that on a next gen console :S

I am a bit put off by the lack of playable demo on the marketplace, not usually a good sign.

There was a demo.

All the good reviews say the signs are good atm.

I have a playable demo on my 360 hard drive that I downloaded via marketplace.

I been playing as the Scrin for the last day or so and they are fun to play for sure.

I lost count the number of times i have sent in Planetary Assault Ships to their base and hearing ''What the fuck is that'' over the mic when the ships are sending their smaller jet fighter aircraft out and when you have like 6-8 pacs the amount of fighter aircraft is pretty daunting to look at if you are on the other side.

Nod are too easy to play imo ;/

Good stuff ch3ts. Getting God of War 2 next weekend. It makes me wonder why I'm buying next gen games when the older offerings are still so much better.

Good stuff, I have only had time to play the first mission and I suck0r with the pad. I'm going to a random island off the coast of Scotland on Friday so I won't play it again until next week.

I look forward to getting trounced.
