Ye cuz you knew so much about the raid, after the first Relic were on the way.
and jeriraa plz QQ more about albs morning raids... Mids do them and hibs do them, but sure lets say only albs do it.

anyway, 6relics is stupid to hold, unless you can be sure to have scouts out 24/7. the guard loss just aint worth it.

Well done on getting the relic Mids, but again, what's all this shite about Albs morning raiding?

If I remember correctly, out of the last 4 relic attempts mids have made on Albion one has been at 3.30am on a Wednesday, one had 200 Mids knocking on Excal's doors at 9.30am on a Sunday (although it wasn't an alarm clock raid (honest guv), those 200 mids 'all just happened to be passing Excal all at the same time and decided to raid', or something), another one at 10am on a Sunday and another one at 12 midday on a Sunday.

So please quit with the Albion morning raiding shit, you're not exactly whiter than white yourselves.

Well I had a bloody good laugh getting the zerg lost... er, I mean taking a shortcut... ahem. I was just happy to see such a good spirit from Midgard, I was pleasantly suprised.

We've failed repeatedly to get relics from the Albs and it was getting a bit depressing to be honest. Personally, I'll take the power bonus gladly until we can get a bit more organized.

in all fairness, 10 mins after we left with the relic, the diversion we left behind reported 6 fg's of hibs inc. when we dropped off the relic, our odins group reported 10fg's of hibs leaving their portal keep.

to me, that seems like a defense, just a late one.

You are right, thou there is some tactics behind it ( from the thread starter aswell ).

Midgard will benefit most of Strenght Relics, as will Albion, Hibernia still use caster more then melee so they would do better with Power ( thou more and more melee Hib groups are on the way ).
The more Relics you hold the less "uber Guards" the Relic keeps got, if you have all 6 relics there will be non "Uber Guard" ( those already there will stay, but none will respawn ). Also the "Uber Guards" generate a Guild Message if the keep they represent are claimed.
So atm Midgard got 3Power and 1Strenght, the best for Midgard would be 3Strenght, but if they get the remaining 2strenght from Albion they will lose the "Uber Guards".
This means a small RelicRaid Force ( 40ppl would be enough ) can get to the Relic and remain unnoticed til they lift the Relic.
If they manage to get a bigger force and use various tactics to hold off the mids they would be able to get all 3Relics.
Most likely this would be Albs that attack ( due to Hibs lowpopulation ), if it's albs that would mean Strenght is the target ( albs cant defend their Power ).

So the final result of getting all the Power would be the loss of Midgards Strenght relic.
Basicly switched 1 Strenght for 1 Power, and Midgard doesnt use casters in RvR ( Fotm groups ), the only benefit would be better heals, thou more Melee damage would be better for them.

So a realm shouldnt take all relics unless they can manage a 24/7 scouting or want to lose one kind of the relics.
So imo Mids took the wrong relic, only the future will tell if it was a mistake or not, but as Alb I would feel pretty safe atm, if mids take albs strenght now Albs would prolly end up with all 3 soon enough.

1 fg made it even inside 1st door, insta dead tho and some1 was inside keep too, insta dead too obv not a great defence and tbh u pulled some guards on the way dunno if intended or not ( ) and we were aware of the RR just we run anyway regardless of the "OMG 150+ Mids who the hell pulls me out of Corus???" ... blablabla on as and Ligen

I agree, you should have gone for melee relics.
This game is about the RvR groups, and those need melee foremost.

All the people complaining its tactically poor to go for the power relic should prehaps consider actually joining in on the planning in future. The raid was planned for over a week.

Or, heaven forbid, prehaps the people so much older and wiser should have organised a RR on albion themselves if thats what they wanted...

IMO the really poor tactics here are the people not involving themselves in the realms plans in the first place, then flaming because they disagree with the result.

Albs and Mids have always wanted more hibbies in rvr right !!.

If you saw the delayed response from us hibbies after relic had been taking you wouldve loved it. mucho rvr going on.

But alas. The relic has gone and so will the hibs that had a hope with 1 relic.
