there are a few things you can do to protect it...

This week for 'Combat Mobile Phone Crime Week,' if you go into any Carphone Warehouse, they can make a copy of your SIM card for free so you'll have a record of all of your contact numbers if it's nicked.

You can also get your handset UV-ID'ed for free and you don't have to be a Carphone Warehouse customer or buy anything from there to benefit from either service.
