Thrust polearm

I keep getting different answers. Are thrust pole, dex or starenght based?

As I've understood it from beta....

The damage done by a Crush/Slash/Thrust pole is based on 100% Str...

Yeah thats why i made my arms a highlander, but then through times i have been told there 100% dex thans why im not sure.

from what i heard its 50% dex and 50% str

Thrust is pure dex, Slash is dex/str, Crush is pure str, as far as I know. Polearm is based on str (also afaik).So, thereby, as I understand it: your damage cap (polearm) is pure strength, then your damage variance and 1h damage (should you ever use it) is based off of your dex.

This is simply my own interpretation, however, and I'm not the type to read in to all the technical side of things too much, so what I say could be utter be crap.

Thats the easy part, now i think pole is 100% str nm what dmg type u chose, but heard 2handed isnt which pulls the doubt >.<

thrust is 50% dex 50% str
polearms are 100% str (all types)
2 handed is 100% str for slash/crush and 75% str 25% dex for thrust (I think, might all be 100% str)
Staves are 100% dex

Im pretty sure Danyan has got it right as to what has been said on Camelotherald (although that can be wrong from time to time). I think when it was said Two Handed thrust weapons are 75% str 25% dex it didn't mean any weapon you hold in your 2 hands but the actual Two Handed line available to Paladins/Armsmen.

Just roll an arms to 5, grab a polearm and use buffs/items to change str/dex and see what happens to your wepskill? :d

Thanks for the tip ill do that ill use my 44 arms though with thrust pole
