Did that over winter solstice, thought i'd bring a bit more loony into my life.

Or rather, take a bit more serious out, noone would want more loony

Otherwise there's not much to change. Except get a girl, like, serious thing...but that's something i don't really feel comfortable promising :p

Aye, but i got a bit-of-loom...loon in me already, too much to some people even, so adding more would be dangerous while removing some serious is much more healthy :D

Also, the creator of thread shall post her own thoughts, lest she be spanked! ;)

*** spank spank*** owwwww

I have enjoyed 2008!

My need for 2009 is to get my body fit for the London Playtex Moonwalk (21 miles) in May and to raise as much as I can to fight cancer, I also need to work on quelling my selfish side and to stop stressing so much about Uni. In 2009 I look forward to lots more adventures and experiences and my favorite thing of getting to know new people.
I think its going to be an exciting year as there has already been talk of New York, Skiing (woohoo)and various gigs and dates are booked. It may not happen, but it is all good.

Lose weight. End of 2007 I was fit and healthy and I'd lost tons of weight when I was travelling. I've put it all back on and then some. My bike ride to work plan starts Monday.

I just want a job :(

Maybe think about quitting smoking again but I may just be a smoker for life.

Finish the house, got bathroom, hall, stairs and landing to do then every single room has been done.

May get some gravel on the drive to finish it but don't want to do that until the summer and I quite like the hard core.

Ermmmm thats it I think, I may stalk Teedles a bit more but thats no fun when he knows I'm doing it

A few weeks ago, I do the local nursery dvd's for them every year (nativity) and the owner is called Mary, everytime I speak to her I sing the song in my head. Its a classic that should of been way bigger than it was, still sounds fresh now.

Every year I say i'll make changes, and never do. So this year my change is to not make any New Years Resolutions.

Be more considerate to my parents. I don't see them that often and when I do go home it always seems to be just arguing. Had abit of a bad year money wise, wasted alot of it. Be more wiser with my purchases.

(obligatory get fit/quit smoking.)

I'll give you my usual new years resolution to use on your friends, as i don't do them at this time:

I promise the same thing i promised last year.

"What's that?"

To promise what i promised this year, next year.

no point makin resolutions just for the sake of em :) its gotta be something you really want and setting it for new year gives you time to get things organised so you can

1) Listen to my body more - was nicely on track to complete the Edinburgh Marathon in May, but then pushed it too hard running with a friend and it's set me back 3 months. I can probably get past the injury and back up to speed, but need to be very careful!

2) Save more money - Would really like to have a good deposit for the end of the year. Will take all money that would normally be spent on the gym to put straight into the savings account. I hope by around September next year, house prices will have fallen a bit.

3) Play more golf - I really enjoy it (even when I'm rubbish), but never get out and do it.

Think that's about it really :)

2008 was a really shit year, but it has ended up on a huge high. I am hoping 2009 carries on as 08 ends, if it does I will be happy.

I'd quite like to learn how to paint in 2009, but I suspect I won't because I usually only ever draw when I'm away working.

Try not to write off my car

Lose weight to improve my health (lower blood pressure)

Try to help Elder son leave the nest

Try to help out more at home (started cooking in 2008) ...its a Northern thing!

If I can do 2-3 of the above it'll be a good year

OK this may make you laugh, but my new years resolution is to stick rigidly to the speed limits in town, be they 30 mph or what.

I'm going to do it too. I keep getting done by mobile cameras in 30 limits doing like 35 mph. It's rediculous. It's not stopping any accidents, or saving children, or badgers for that matter, but its costing me money and its battering my licence. I've been caught twice on the same stretch of road in the last few years.

I give in. Bastards.

Oh, my other new years resolution is to buy more guns.

Spend more time cooking so I eat better food.
Spend even more time with my friends
Spend even more time with my children (and take them on holiday to their dreams)
and understand the art of "fish and m00"
