Thnx to Mids at Sursbrooke

The only name I remembered was that of Killgorde... just as 2 cbh groups were putting up the ram at Sursbrooke to take it from the Albs, 2 fg Mids which looked to be from the same guild attacked us.

The battle that ensued lasted unusually long, and was unusually well balanced. After a while both sides had about 6 people left alive, barely alive and barely capable of fighting... then the Mids pulled back and just started to rest in sight of us... so we charged and were victorious, only just ( : I had about 3 health, 0 end and 0 mana left over after that ( : Best skirmish ever, and it made my day regardless of what happened afterwards.

Aye was fun, we planned to pop Surs as well, so got a bit surprised when we got all the way to the gates and then suddenly seeing hibs, everything was kinda uncoordinated after that

Was a great fight. I was amazed to see Rjan still alive running around like a mad man with his axe 5 minutes after the rest of the group was dead

For me it went something like this:

I was busy with my ram banging on the door, hitting for 750 damage. Suddenly: "mids!"
- Pff, take care of them, Im busy banging on a door
- Mids!! help!!
- wtf? can you deal with some mids? we have 2 grps here?
- 2fg mids!! help!! Run!!
- <turning around and looking at the battlefield, lots of dead bodies> OMG!!!! <starts healing/rooting>
- Rezz! Rezz me! pls rezz!
- Ffs, i cant leave you guys alone for 1 minute <starts rezzing>
- <mana out after 20 secs> rezz!! Still dead here!
- FFs, need mana!! <seeing some mids and hibs running around with almost no hits>
- <after some time> Yes! We won! eureka!!!

Now comes the morale of the story:
when I turn back to my ram, someone else took control of it and was banging on the door.

By the way: those weren't the first Mids we encountered. When we were incoming to Erasleigh, we saw from downhill the keepdoors were open. When we arrived, Mids just took down the lord so the doors closed in front of our noses. We hugged the wall, hoping to catch the Mids when they'd port out of the keep, but unfortunately some norseman spotted us : / So nothing left to do but nuke nuke, twf, nuke, twf, nuke nuke em from the walls -> ram on gate -> kill Mids at Jarl -> kill Jarl ( :
