I would have liked to have seen the WC come to England but i think its rediculous how everyone is going mad at it. Can someone explain why people are screaming fix just cause people have said they will vote then actually make an official vote which is different? Ive been to job interviews in the past where the employer says they are impressed with me then gave the job to someone else

Oh and surely Boris just tried to bribe the officials then take it back when they didnt vote

Yes, which is exactly why the 2022 bid should have gone to Australia or the US rather than Qatar.

The whole bidding process is flawed; as for corruption, well FIFA are hardly covering themselves in glory. The bid process costs millions, and for a country to keep going as we and others did, on the promise of votes is ridiculous. It needs looking at.

The USA had a crack at it in 1994. The bid going to Qatar is a big + for the whole of the region (Middle East). They do play football in these countries as well. It might not be to as high a standard as in Europe but it is played and people do love football here just as much as anywhere else in the world.

Australia is not exactly a world power house and frankly speaking Iran has had more appearances then they have. Everyone is knocking Qatar's winning the right to host it for a billion and 1 reasons but they had an excellent bid which covers pretty much every point made by people as negatives.

I am 100% sure that event will be awesome regardless of where it is hosted and Qatar is no different and if anything will be even better because they ahve no issues with money.

Well yes, in football terms they are shit. Never been in a WC, could just aswell give it to Wales. Oh actually i think they have been in the wc before, and arent paying fifa to get their votes, as its obviously not about the football.
