its obvious from the replies...that most ppl think using any advantage u can to win is fair...which to me is only step away from using cheats....will we be saying next month....its ok to use Radar?

Dual booting is allowed, whereas radar is not. Pretty hard to jump from bots to radar tbh.

p.s. u can't say using a bot is like or even near to radar lol..2 acc's=allowed....radar=isnt...

people using two accounts are just utilising the options available to them and because in theory its available to everyone (i know bout crap comps, money etc comes into it cos i cudnt afford a buffbot except for about 1 month wen i used it to level) it can't be seen as cheating.

although i don't agree with buffbots i can see the reason behind it.

I love all the people going "I love 1 v 1 fights", whilst having a bb back in a pk, yeah thats really mano et mano there *rolls eyes*.

Its not like MoC is a get out of jail card, being broken horribly by say .. oh .. lulla? Guess which realms have access to aoe lulla? Guess what breaks MoC? (unless youre spamming pbaoe I suppose)

Youre also not paying attention to Usp's sig, Im sure there would be a load of screaming if you realised both Usp and Usples are buffed to the tits by a Mota3/Toa/Nurture 50 druid. So I wont tell you that, nor will I tell you that Usp is probably one of the best players in the game at the moment.

Still its fun to run either this char or my Druid Cuchuluhain (yes the annoying fatso in teal) out to emain late at night and get some nice skirmishes going.

Now if I could just get the other Hibs to comprehend that charging Mids/Albs is a bad idea and that staying in the position of strength and defendibility is the best idea.


Ps, theres an inconnu sorc who keeps popping up late at night, he needs a kicking, being out mezzed by a mentalist -continually- is shocking. To stand there and try to annoy me whilst in range of my lifetap is a VERY silly idea also.

caster without BG will still be able to nuke the caster with BG... so as long as the BG is mezzed/rooted or whatever then whats the problem?

This isn't any different than using a buffbot, the problem here (beside the global problem of people using bots to play) is boydguard, a ML ability that is *way* too good.

Also not everyone is 'soloing' with a buffbot, I know I don't

The problem is not this thread. The problem is people flaming everything to hell and back and then calling it a whine just because they cant have a reasonable discussion.

80% of the posts in the DAoC section are shit like "QQ", "whine more" and pointless stuff like that but is that the fault of the thread starters? I dont think so. In my opinion its the fault of some "simple" individuals who are not able to come up with any better replies and still cant refrain from answering at all.


And honestly, if you dont see his point about bodyguard pets (aswell as SoS and BoF bots I have seen) then you dont even know what fair play is. So why reply at all?

Wasn't really the best way to ask him to rephrase the thread. All he had to do was ask " Do people think this is a the right direction for the game." which you could have interpreted if you wished as his real intent for posting. It still had more content than your reply. As the first respondee you had the opportunity to direct the thread. I'm sorry if my post made no sense to you. It was pretty to the point. I'll rephrase. The majority of your responses rarely add value to a thread. Saying someone or someones thread is stupid without reason doesnt make you look intelligent. i was xping in DF y/day...Albion got DF...so i went for a look Alb side....and in that time i managed to killl 5 Albs....but when i died...it was my warrior who died 1st...not the bot
