Fair play to those that don't like it - it's only a bit of fun at the end of the day and yes, the entire thread there is just a trolljob.

It does give me a wry smile to think however that when it's a "normal" person involved (normal not relating to how a person acts, looks or lives) people do seem to be a little more sensitive, however as soon as the person involved is slightly famous, sportsperson, actor/actress etc, it's then deemed fair game by a larger majority to rip the piss out of what they do, how they live and indeed how they look.

One thing you must remember though is that there is a difference between a throwaway comment in jest and a deliberate, planned and directly malicious and cruel post that is only there to encourage further ridicule. The poster has gone out of their way to go "omg look someone's not the prettiest" and get the nastiest responses possible.

No-one here is going to pretend they've not made or giggled slightly at a random comment or two. A vicious personal attack on someone is totally different. I'd quite like to see the guy who posted the original thread act in the same manner in front of her face. He'd probably get killed as he most likely is some desperately lonely internet nerd who has never had any real social relationships with anything else other than some text on a screen.

Well, seeing as somewhere in that thread they were talking about posting about that forum on the guy's myspace page (somewhere in the first 16ish pages because that's as far as I got), I'd say 'pretty high' is what the chances are.

I don't really have an opinion on it, I lol'd a couple of times (not so much at the actual photos but at unrelated posts like the 'shoulder cookie') but it's not very nice really now is it.

I think it's shit what that poster did. I think the people playing the joke up are incredibly insensitive. I don't know the people involved - I don't give a shit about them. I give a shit about the whole "lol he married a fatty" thing.
