Oh and the guy in Chewbacca's costume is 3 inches shorter than Peter Mayhew. Bloody continuity schoolboy error.

How the heck can Palpatine come back? Is this the most rediculous resurrection ever, or have I missed something that explains it?
Iron Man brought him back when he snapped his fingers...

What??? That's how the interconnected disney+ universe works now right?

Why do fat globules (eg from cooking oil) form perfect circles in water?

Most minimal shape due to water tension I believe. Something to do with the cohesion of the molecules if less dense than the water.

Similar as to why bubbles are round also

Capt Tom, right now £25.5 million. Fucking legend.
This is one thing that I think everyone in the world can agree on (except probably Trump, Putin and Kim Jong Un as they are so egotistical they can not imagine a world where they are not the most important people and the saviours of us all :|)

I'm guessing Boris wishes he'd go away right now too.

I've spent some of this morning sorting a problem with our "drains". Out here in the middle of the countryside there is no mains drainage system. So we have our own "facilities".
I can't get the smell out of my nose :poop::(

I needed a haircut so asked Mrs Yuck to "have a go". I've got clippers and scissors so she had a go. Result! Better than the last cut I had at the barbers.

No2 back and sides, No4 on top, faded in then thinning scissors. Took about 40 minutes as she was panicking about balls it up. I've asked though and you should be fine with a pudding bowl(y)
When I was a kid the barber still did bowl cuts. They were cheap so he used to do quite a few. Ah those were the days.

:) That's why I asked what bowl size as I remember bowl cuts as a kid.

So Mrs Yuck the new barber? How much she charging?

I tried to clip / cut my own hair the other day - but had to get pissed to summon up the courage / stupidity.

Result isn't good, thankfully I stopped at 3 almost bald spots

I remember one of my brother-in-laws buying a new clipper system that was circular and you held the back of it. After the cut he looked like a leopard except most of the spots were bald spots. He has never used it again.

She gets the pleasure of my company, enough for anyone. I usually get a cut every 4 weeks or so, so she will no doubt have to do it again. The downside to this is that she needs to go to the hairdressers, apparently I have to help her "do her roots". Mild panic is setting in.

I've got a set of Wahl clippers with the different guards, pretty much the same as the barbers use. Good quality kit.

I remember when they came out thinking that I couldn't see them being great.
