We have a local NHS walk in centre, so I walked in after getting my little finger crushed.
There is a room with a queue of people waiting to use a phone...2 women behind a counter.
I walk to the counter.
They take my name and tell me to join the queue to use the dedicated line to book in.
So I queue for 15 mins, they take my details and tell me to sit down to be called again to the counter.
I sit right up front and watch the woman recieve a phone call and start typing into her computer...she is typing in the details of the patients who have walked in over the phone from the person we have to ring.

Hit a bit of a rough patch with the GF, I've been kind of distant, taking her for granted, lazy, not suggesting we do stuff etc, lately, and she felt it. We've been at my place few times a week at least, each and every week for this 8 months we've been together.
I guess i haven't spoken my feelings as much as needed, so we've been a part for a couple of days now and she's been cold and distant, explaining she have felt bad for not missing me as much as I've said i missed her, we've met and there was a long discussion, tears, and well, it might not work, but we said were going to take a short one or two day vacation, stay at a hotel and just do stuff the two of us, see if we can talk and work things out, i hope so.

I've been really caught up in her, not doing much about life and it's never good for anyone. So, i need to get shit done.

It feels weird when she's not here, very lonely, as she's been here almost every day. Just taking away stuff you are used to and taken for granted, hurts and confuses you.

But, what do you do to not get used to and take someone for granted that's close to you?

Yeah. I haven't managed to say that "Well, i do need some time to do this so can't do that with you today", and she did the exact same thing. If we both just spoke out It would've been so much easier.

Because you two are an item, dosent mean you can't be separated for short bursts of time. A weekend away in a cabin with the mates or just a quick trip to a café with a friend also gives you two something new to talk about

I take it back, I'm loving Windows 10, especially since I sacked off Google Drive for Microsoft OneDrive - it's integration into the Windows UI makes it a much better user experience than Google Drive.
