Just submitted a money claim online to the court against the Y-Cam camera I bought (which came with free cloud storage subsequently made not-free by Y-Cam). I also discovered that Amazon has now removed all Y-Cam cameras from their website, which I would imagine is a fairly significant blow to any company trading electronics online.

I asked a Dutch company how I could pay for an item they have. This is the reply.

"U kunt de betaling doen op onderstaand rekeningnummer"

First thing I thought was "you cunt don't understand fucking number"

I imagine that is the case but if there are people genuinely moaning because they don't know how to do it then there should be cause for concern.

Though, I bet the two states overwhelmingly endorsed Trump and allows the old two pints of milk and a military assault rifle shopping trips...

It's a tactic the unions in the UK would get a serious boner over - basically you can't pump your own gas in Oregon and New Jersey as it takes people's jobs away, even if the jobs themselves are fairly pointless. I don't think this change in law means you have to pump your own gas, just that you can if you want. Don't want to? Go to an attended service station then. They have them in the 48 other states....

I think the real reason for the complaints though was that the petrol companies would be stopping this service but not lowering their prices - again, quite easy to get round, just go to the one across the street.

I think Oregon is Trump, New Jersey? Definitely not. I visited our office over there on election night and didn't see too much overt support for the Donald - I did see a hell of a lot of hatred for Hillary though....

Car failed its mot on a rear brake problem. Took it to my regular garage, turns out one of the rear calipers is seized solid, the disc and pads on that side ruined. Caliper serviced and working fine now, told the garage to do both discs and pads. Might as well.

That's the second seized caliper I've had on this car. One of the problems with regenerative braking - the calipers don't get used nearly as much as a standard car, so they stop working after a few years.

I had to do my second in 3 months just before Xmas - initially I had thought it was to do with the Traction Control (as it is just the rears sticking), hadn't considered the brake energy harvesting.

If they cant fucking turn up they should say so straight away, she could have got a taxi there herself and saved her life.
