This hamster just told the dog she prefers to fry bacon instead of oven baking

Not a fan at all of that car. Too long hood, too short rear and utterly disproportionate in between.

I think it harks back to the P1800, as driven by Roger Moore in The Saint, an iconic Volvo sports coupe. I agree with G it's a lovely car, though the grill is a bit chunky.

It is very nice isn't it? Shame they're only going to make 500 so it will probably be lhd only. On the other hand, the original concept looked like this:

Pretty close to the real thing, which means they might make this:

hnnng.

So many cars have come out and I'm all "meh", but this is the first time since probably the F type coupé where I'm genuinely wowed.

Theres a million designs by car designers that would be the most amazing cars on the road..it would seem there is an enforced conservatism on design...mediocre styling seems to be either a safe approach or some kind of u written rule to keep exceptional styling rare.

Actually I think we're going through a relatively good time for car design. When I think back to how dull things were in the late 90s...

Roast mini potatoes with coarse sea salt, chilli, and rosemary.

They're good.

I'm sorry, but neither of those are Volvos. How will that flimsy AA-battery driven 3-door shit tin can push the family and I up a Swedish mountain to Idre Fjäll for a week of skiing?!

Now THIS is a Volvo:

No input needed. I'm proud of a fellow Swede @Coke.

@DaGaffer

Now, i can't really remember which car Gaff is driving, but, that...thing is a clauset-Bmw fan's wet dream if i ever saw one, with the added bonus of being able to sociali..giving and taking reach-arounds with from/with Tesla-people.

The 'original' concept you're so flauntingly throwing about here IS a BMW hatchback model tbfh.

I actually really dislike current BMW design. 4 & 6 series are the only ones I even slightly like (and even then not the interiors), and they're both old designs that'll probably get replaced by something worse.

Not surprised you two don't like the Polestar, its individual and stylish that doesn't sit well with the whole Jante thing. No tall poppies allowed ;)

It's still looks washed out and dull somehow. Like they have looked at other cars, picked bits, airbrushed them together and completely missed the point.

Witcher 3 GOTY edition on Steam at £14. Worth it? I mean, it looks like Skyrim, which was OK (though not amazing) - so is it really worth stumping up the cash/time?
