Actually an Asian Bond would be much more likely than a Black James Bond. But here's the thing; James Bond, or indeed any MI6 agent, is far more likely to be a white, ex-military, ex-public schoolboy than he is to be black, or Asian. Casting him as black is pandering, and less realistic than the casting he's always had. Doctor Who? Fine, fill your boots, colour, gender, orientation, all up for grabs (although after initial curiosity, I don't think Jodie Whittaker will be a ratings success, because no one bothered to check with the audience, which is primarily young boys), but James Bond simply makes a lot less sense as a minority.
