Actually they're surprisingly comfy, and more important with a 4 & 5 year old, easy to clean! We're also going to stick some comfy chairs in the corner by the big windows when we have some money; there's a tv bracket over that that you can't see in the pic.

Ban burka, hajib, faith schools, come down hard on reverse racism ( because muslims, pakistanis, jews, Indians are 1000x more racist than us).
Abolish Sharia courts, actually start putting people in prison for FGM.
Zero tolerance on forced marriage, child brides etc...
Simply put an actual hard message out there that we are not a wet liberal pushover and that appeasement NEVER works, it makes me shudder to think of the abuse of women behind closed doors in these communities because they have no access to help.
We have given up on Gippos, and are giving up on our minorities under the illusion of sensitivity to their culture.

I get the frustrations and share many of them. But banning religious clothing is plain stupid. Got no problem with putting people in prison for GBH (FGM) - as already happens under existing laws if people are found guilty - and would like to extend that to circumcision. Forced marriage is already illegal.

Don't really see any solutions to existing problems at all there @Job. Just a rant against muslims and minorities, some of which would be retrograde, some of which is already in effect.

I was making a point against Job - Stop the muslims from engaging in domestic violence - What about all the men that also beaten up and go unspoken because society shuns them?

Yes, but basically, steel pans work. We thought we'd have to replace everything and in the end we just binned one ancient milk pan.

One thing they don't tell you though; Quookers are really optimised for the fully pressurised plumbing systems you get in Europe, not the open systems we have in the UK and Ireland, so the water pressure isn't quite as good. Its still absolutely fine, but not quite what the videos show.

Just repeating what I was told, that we use a mix of pressurised and gravity-fed taps and that in Europe it's all high pressure.

Yes, but gravity fed is not safe to drink, though boiling it is OK obviously, if this is a kitchen tap it must be fed off the rising main, cold taps in the bathroom and showers can be gravity tank fed.
I doubt your tap is gravity unless they
Have piped in the boiling feed seperately, you probably have low water pressure, I've fitted loads of them, flow isn't much anyway...fill a cup in 10 seconds.

as Gaff said. decent steel bottom ones. thing is, it's "best" to use ones that have never been on other heat sources so the bottoms are completely flat. so "they" tell me.

several types here that I've seen. a mate has IR plates. they get hot as fuck though, and take a while to spool up. my plates are "insta on" and are only hot because there's been a hot pan sitting on them. the one's you're talking about are pans heating due to direct contact with an electric coil. my cooker is full of electomagnets.

actually, there are specialist wok induction kits, but hey ho. if you like wokking, then perhaps seek alternative heat sources.
