If everyone was born with the same abilities. If everyone was born with the same academic capability. Then everyone should have the same chance to be a top ex or whatever.

But they are not. Everyone should have the same opportunity to make the most of what they have. But to say that everyone canbe a top ex or be worth enough to be paid big bucks is wrong.

Some people are in nature less able to comprehend what is needed. Anyone who has the ability should no doubt be pushed to as far as they can go.

But to say that some people ambitions should not be stopped at flipping burgers is short sighted and elitist.

The whole economy needs reforming. It's nit fair to have such disparity. The so called 'talented' (but mostly actually the privileged) don't deserve what they get at the expense of everyone else.

The gap needs massively cutting.

So what would you do with person A who can barely spell their own name, has no interest in spelling their own name and would rather spend their day sat in front of the telly? Chief executive? Surgeon?

And while I will admit I had opportunities when I left school I started my life washing dishes at a golf club, 2 weeks into that the cold hard reality started to set in, that getting stoned when I should have been doing exams was probably a bit silly. I then went and worked in an office opening post, switched my brain on and went from there, moved up the ladder a few rungs. Moved companies a couple of times, each time moving up the ladder a bit, listening to what people actually say. I am now in the position that every time I say I am thinking about leaving I get a pay rise.

The usual sob story, single parent, delinquent father, no education, shitty childhood, blah blah blah. Its no excuse.
