I've had a real hankering to buy an airfix kit for quite a while now. I used to love making models.

You'd put them in a sink of warm water, following the instructions with due diligence, and then the Royal Air Force graphic would just end up with a fuckoff big ripple down the side and it wouldn't stay on the right part of the wing. Ahhh that brings me back, built those and many many many more fighter jets when i was a kid. Enjoyed painting them in various camou colors as well. Great fun. F16, F15's, FA18 etc.

Fiddly thing was putting large amounts of bombs in bomb-racks or the landing-gear.
