I think a 7 year old in any time was wrong.

This is a really horrible subject and it is hard to try and make a point when it feels wrong to think that way.

My Nan was saying she did some work at some BBC Road Shows and there were girls throwing themselves at these guys. And one of the people now claiming rape who has been in the paper was famed as a groupie back in the day and from 14 she was stalking the BBC guys and throwing herself at them. Now all these years later she is selling her story as a rape victim who was groomed over the years. And back then I really don't think these was the stigma attached to 14/15 year old girls I think it was along the lines of if they are ready they are ready.

A friend of mine told us this story last week. He being 25 was out in a club with his mates. One of them comes back talking about this "dirty bitch" who is all over him and ready to come home. As he turns around to look it is his 15 year old sister. His mate is far from a nonce but in a club where the staff should make sure you are 18 if you get a bird throw her self at you and then the next day she says "oh btw I am 14" are you then a nonce?

I really think it is the act of going out and finding a girl you know is underage before trying something is what sets a nonce aside. I have not read all of the Harris case because it is such a horrible subject.

I was out in a club many years ago, met a girl, kissed her, felt her tits - she told me she was 21, but in the end was actually 17.

Now, that's perfectly legal, but only just and I do worry for the girls (and men) who are not quite 16 who chase older guys. If she lies about her age, what are you supposed to do?

I can understand the 15yr olds getting into clubs, making themselves out to be older and putting it out there, they know exactly what their doing from the off, and then showbiz types taking advantage of their position

but molesting 7 -8yr olds, there is no excuse, that has noting to do with whether they are famous, there is something wrong with them and they know they are doing wrong

I watched a TV Show all about an American pedophile who knew he was wrong. He went to therapy and later went to the police and said he had thoughts that were wrong about kids. The cop said there is nothing they can do unless he acts. So he kidnapped a kid and took him to the police station. He got some prison time but no help. So the next time he was struggling to control his urges he tried to kill himself. He then took another kid from school to a police station to go back to jail. In the end he killed another pedophile in Prison so they would stop letting him out.

I felt sorry for the guy in the end he knows what he is feeling is wrong but there was no help out there for him and you could tell how scared he was that his urges would over power his will that he took so drastic action in the end.

I do also think there needs to be different clarifications as a 16 year old boy sleeping with his 15 year old girlfriend gets charged with the same as a 60 year old raping a 7 year old which is stupid.

I spent the night with my tongue down the throat of a girl in our local club when I was 20...found out the next day she was 15..but holy fuk she looked 16 :)
They do take into account all the circumstances...even a sexual relationship with a 12 year old by a 19 year old lad would simply attract the attention of social services and not criminal.charges if the girl is a willing partner..I know because it often happens in my wifes girls school...gigiddy.

I'm enjoying the 'passing uni' statuses on facebook, you either do well, so get a first, or 2:1, then you say you got that, if not, you passed, DOESNT MATTER THE GRADE :p

speaking of results, just got mine, got a 2:2 overall, but I fucked up a early essay to get a low third, so I reckon I'd have a 2:1 if I didn't fuck that one up.

Oh well, first year dont count :)

For first year don't you only need to get 40%+ on most courses? At least that's how it was on mine, then your final grade is just made up from the next 2 years

Yup, You need to get a third to 'pass' it - but you can get a third first year, and a exceptional first in your second and third years.

Atleast that's my plan anyway.

What bolaks is that..to me just another example of edu elitism to boost degree educations perceived superiority...like the hats and gowns...all fluff.
