No your not. Unless you're delusional:

you said said:
Future of no difference between nigerian and english is possible, but humanity will switch from race to status, to haircolor(damn gingers!), or even into what console you own.

Given the above scenario, with a one-world-government as stipulated, where's the other massive vested interest to go to war with?

Where's the "opposing military" and the nationalistic bollocks to go to full scale war over?

Status/hair colour/what console? You won't get humans going to war over that. They'll fight like the children they are but they won't go to war.

Why? Because the single governmental entity won't allow it. It's hardly going to declare war on itself.

Bring it on. One world government for the win. Hopefully not one shit world government, but hey, we've got shit government everywhere anyway...

It was like driving to work on a console this morning, the draw distance is horrendous out there. Doesn't help you get console pop up because spastics don't understand that having your lights on help others see you.

People will go to war, and have, over less meaningful stuff. Religion afterall comes down to "which console do you like?"

Religious war is about control of another section of the world. The Vatican (or Church of England) vs Islam. They both have differing ideologies - but one thing in common - instead of an elected secular government you have self-appointed religious government.

I.E. Same shit, different bullshit. There's little difference between the power dynamic of a religious government system vs a "democratic" government system vs a socialist or communist one. The problem arises because of multiple systems of government who want to fight for control. You need more than one power base.

If you have ONE world government there's no opponent.

Civil war isn't a novel idea.

Civil war flourishes when two different sides want to take control of a national government. Historically (and in the present day - take a look around the world toht, there's lots of "civil war" going on) you'll find that the public falls in behind one power base to fight against another. This is usually hugely influenced by external actors also - but with one world government there are no external actors.

Democratic (or whatever means of ascent exists) would be the easiest and least costly route to power and wouldn't further marginalise and unpopularise a minority voice in the eyes of a majority.

If you discard the notion of countries, separate governments and understand we're one humanity then you could easily say that in many ways all wars are "civil" war.

You could, of course, have revolution. But that's the case in every single country on the planet now anyway. But by the time we get to one world government you'd have to hope that it would be a well tried and tested system. Hopefully one of consent rather than one of top-down authoritarianism. (However, it's likely to be one of consent because top-down authoritarianism stokes feelings of resentment and they're destabilising in the first place).

Honestly Toht. It's like you haven't thought this through at all ;)

I disagree with your opinion on the matter, i think that people will -always- fight/war over something (hippiezenpeoplerace excluded), but...

Honestly Toht. It's like you haven't thought this through at all ;)

Was waiting for that. I've demonstrated that there's no mechanism for war to occur but rather than address the points I've made, or rebuff them, you've simply stated the same thing again (whilst muddying the war/fighting separation I carefully made) and then exited.

Fair enough m8. But you're wrong. :)

A woman at work just asked me to 'sign her document'.

Turns out she actually did need a document signed. Anyone need a project engineer who can build power stations?

Could it be cos I haven't linked it to I tunes recently? Trouble is last time I did that I lost all my texts and photos, so I'm reluctant to do it again.

Those are very ineffective zombie repellants. Beware; This house is owned by someone infected with the Rickvirus. Which we all know makes the person incompetent in zombie survival situations and most likely to die in the the following month(most likely by tripping over their own shoe). Luckily it only spreads with direct contact with Rick or anyone who's been in direct contact with Rick.

Philosophical question of the day;

If someone moves a coffeetable(etc) in your house and you then hit your leg on it, was it because the coffeetable was moved there, or because the coffeetable wasn't there before?
