I have some chicken in white wine sauce in my slow cooker that should be ready just after I finish work. I can't wait to go check on the results! The same book I got it from also has a recipe for a slow cooked ginger cake that I may have to try in the next day or two.

If you've got a blocked up nose, fresh garlic & ginger. As I was cutting the garlic, the aroma went straight to my brain. And the smell of freshly grated ginger is really pleasant (but its quite potent, so go easy on it).
