Yeap, same here, never seen any stories of the female unit, but in general throwing piss, or projectiles of any harmful manner, is still not deserved.

To be fair, bottling is usually reserved for someone who is a. utterly shit, b. probably shouldn't be there in the first place, and/or c. takes the piss out of the audience with their arrogance and shiteness (as in the 50cent example above). I actually witnessed the Daphne & Celeste one and frankly their management should never have booked them for a gig like Reading in the first place. It would be like booking Shabba Ranks for G.A.Y.

Glass bottles are banned from all festival sites. They are not sold anywhere on site, they are confiscated on entry if you try and bring your own.

More likely the lid was done up on a plastic bottle, meaning when it hits it feels like something much more solid than it is. You're still not going to get hurt from it.

In addition to the search on camp entry the arenas have search areas, so the chances of any glass making it that far is practically none.
