To be honest it would be the climb back down that would scare the piss out of me.

I'm sure base-jumping off that would be amazing, but I'm also sure the climb up there with a parachute on your back would be a nightmare.

Well I live about an hour away but have worked in Ipswich quite a bit. It's an okish Town. Like most place I guess it does have its nice spots, the surrounding area is very nice though. Tell him to have a look at Woodbridge and Felixstowe, both nice places.
