That was after 50% off, ridiculous prices. It was nice though.£19 for pizza is what's stupid (not you, just insane cost)

I went with the large Peperoni and nduja, with extra cheese, extra perperoni and extra nduja, btw. 50% off, £19.something.
Pizzas are always 50% off, you should try Fireaway if you have one local to you.
I can think of no service to the entire universe greater than this.We need to design a Moon mission to send robots up there and draw a huge regolith cock visible from millions of miles away.

it's a benefit of being straightDidn't know we could call our left hand our wife.
Interesting.
Not so much its central thesis, but the detail; why is the UK fucked either way for example? Why are so many countries going to implode even with immigration? Is immigration the only answer? Why can't we figure out a future that doesn't involve relentless population growth?

Our figures are truly spectacular, with those figures and Migration we would have the biggest population. It does make me wonder why this country is so popular.
Yeah I looked at the UK and just can't see how it can be sustained, and ultimately it's just kicking the can down the road; there reaches a point where the population starts to go backwards no matter what. The only thing that did occur to me is climate change; Italy and Spain look like their populations are going down the dumper in any scenario, but they might end up being unlivable anyway; perhaps whoever's left can move into all those empty Baltic states and Poland...You were missing the d at the end of your link:

Frankly, if life wasn't so fucking expensive people would have kids...
Mostly because we are easy to get to, and speak English (the global language) Plus many already have contacts, or family here.
I was amazed to hear that an Indian colleague moved here from Germany, about 15 years ago, out of choice.
What I find particularly amusing is that people who will rely on the state, in their old age, want to rid ourselves of the people that keep social care functioning in the first place.
I do think voting record should be considered when working out who gets care, when it is finite, in a few years time.
Ahh, Gaz, I see you voted to remove half our staff, sorry champ, no care for you. That sort of thing.
Boats are 5% of immigration. Everything about boat migrants is distraction and misdirection (just like border walls on the Mexican border). "Look at how tough on migrants we are" as they wave in twenty times as many on student visas and laughable points systems.I'm all for Immigration, if its done through legal channels, turning up on a boat here though? nah, sorry. You could have stopped at the first place deemed "Safe" in the EU and stayed there under EU law, literally no reason for you to come here. If you've gone through legal channels though, or are apart of a government backed scheme (like Ukrainians are currently) then sure, fill your boots.
Fact: Immigrants put more into the economy than they take from it - this, however, is a double edged sword, because there is an absolute MASSIVE number of immigrants that have no intentions of integrating, they're happy to just disappear into somewhere like Birmingham and live in a community of XYZ religion/race / never learn the language, flout the laws and just be a general nuisance/complain about things offending their beliefs (and I'm sorry if I've hurt any fairies saying that, its the truth, not bleedings hearts)
I've found it hit and miss as some of the paywallers can block it. The times used to be one of 'em. But if they've upped their game...If you've not already tried it put "12ft.io/" at the very start of a website address
I used it on the Times website and got around the paywall.
Try it

What's most annoying is that none of the news outlets are making that point. What's really depressing is how well the misdirection seems to work.

It's almost as if everything we vote on is bullshit. Wouldn't it be laughable if what we voted on didn't actually matter, that we actually lived under technocratic rule, and our politics is just performance with no material effect on how the country is run?
Oh. Wait.
No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to become a strong independent woman.
