yes definetly a good watch imho, I like gangster flicks and this is one I'd have on say a top10 list.

Heat (Al Pacino, Robert de Niro, Val Kilmer) was a remake of LA Takedown. Never saw LA Takedown, but Heat was one heck of a movie.

La takedown is on par, better in my opinion, but only just. You need to sort your priorities out lamp, take some time off work and watch it.

It's average, but I probably say that because I've been watching classics from the Golden Age - Some Like It Hot and All About Eve so far. These are great films and I'd highly recommend them.
