how did you make it?

looks like he got a bottle of cheap vodka and put some nutmeg, cranberries and cinnamon sticks in it.

It's Tesco vodka, £12.99 a litre. If it works out well, I'll try with some Chase vodka next time.

It has about 4 cinnamon sticks in the bottom, 3/4 of a grated nutmeg (I got too lazy to grate it all), and a handful of cranberries that I pierced with a cocktail stick to allow juices out / vodka in.

Just had a little sip to see how it's getting on. Can really taste the cinnamon, hints of nutmeg. Not sure the cranberries have done anything. It will be really spicy in a week when I serve it up

I've now added a large spoonful of brown sugar to balance out the flavour as well as more cranberries, which I have crushed slightly.

nice, the crushing/bruising should help the flavour infusion I think.

in an aside, I wonder if you could make a "summer" wodka with a caipirinha vibe: mint, lime and brown sugar to drink really chilled. if you make strong with lots of bruised mint leaves it will have a burn-kick like a mad thing maybe? watchoofink Chetlar?
