Tough call between Samsung Galaxy s6 and the HTC One M9.

I'd pick the M9 over the S6 just because of the speakers the M9 has. I have the M8 and it is a fantastic phone. I'd pick up the M9 if I wasn't locked in a contact for another year, which will mean by the time it's finished I'll probably end up with the M10.

I do like the look and the features you get with the S6 Edge though...as well as a higher resolution screen (and a faster processor??)

But then the Camera may not be as good as M9 and no expandable storage...it is a tough choice for me anyway

The camera on the s6 is apparently very good indeed, especially indoors/low light.

That s a tough call, as the S6 has higher specs, but the HTC is a nicer piece of hardware and has better speakers. I'd probably lean towards the HTC as TouchWiz is full of AIDS.

I am actually due an upgrade, however predictably I'm waiting to see what happens with the Z4. But then, I can use my works mobile for personal calls, so I may use this as an opportunity to get a new tablet. Ah decisions decisions.

Win 7 was my first legit copy of a windows OS and I am really glad I made the move, its just easier.

Well done Microsoft for putting your money where your mouth is. It'll give them market share, it'll combat botnets, it'll make the platform far more attractive to developers (which will have knock-on's in the mobile segment).

Time to upgrade all my family's PC's with pirated copies of Windows 7. And knock a few pirate Win7 virtual machines together - a few win10 virtual machines wouldn't go amiss

This isn't really related but: Last year I went to a metal music festival in Slovenia and there was a reeally drunk Finnish guy on our coach from the airport. He shared some really interesting facts like "In Finland, we have 2 types of people; motherfuckers... er, motherfuckers and er... motherfuckers!".

For me the biggest surprise was how different it looked on camera. In real life it looked silver, with barely any colour to it. I think I'm going to have to go on holiday somewhere very northern to get a better view.

It does look quite different to the naked eye, if you view it further north during a solar storm then you'll see the colours more vividly; we're still quite far south here even when it's strong.

He said that within a year he'd made much more money than his previous album because it had reached so many more people, meaning that most of his concerts were sold out, he was booked top a ton of festivals and he did a lot of advertising
