You shouldn't keep bananas in the fridge because it makes them go off quicker, and also when chilled, they release a chemical which makes other things in the fridge go off quicker as well.

I actually dont keep any sauce in the fridge, i know it says 'refidgerate after opening' but for me there is nothing worse than freezing cold ketchup on chips or salad cream in a sandwich

Hah, I was going to comment on the upside downness of his ketchup. (note: KETCHUP NOT RED SAUCE!).

Unrefrigerated ketchup is horrid though, eventually it starts to ferment, stink and taste absolutely foul.

I keep eggs in the fridge until the day before I am using them -so for example, I'd have two boxes of eggs. First one would be out and stay out until it was gone, second box would stay in the fridge until box one had only one egg left.
