Tonight, 9pm, Film 4. One of the best English films ever made imo. Stephen Graham is absolutely outstaning as the psycho racist skin head combo.

There is no fantasy about this, believe me. Racist attacks were really common where I lived, as was the skin head culture.

Dead mans shoe is the best Shane Meadows film if you ask me.

Though I do agree that "This is England" is a iconic indie english film that is definately worth watching over some hollywood shite.

Really? The acting was the only bit of the film i liked!

I thought the young fat lad was excellent, he can't have been older than 12.

There were a few bad ones, the guy who played Milky is quite crap.

Yep agree with the Nil By Mouth comment. Not for the faint hearted. The scene where he stamps on Kathy Burke's head and kicks her in the face is just horrid. And when you see the state of her in the morning. Jeez...don't think I could watch that scene a 2nd time TBH
