As im abit inactive atm, the time i have free im gunna update and mod my UI ready for 1.78..

Now Tv in daoc..

Baiscly its a custom window that allows u to see trhough your daoc and show your windows media player etc video's..

technically it isnt "video in daoc" (atleast if I understand this correctly), just a 'colour' that allows whatever video that happens to be playing on your desktop behind daoc in the same space as the window is in your UI.

This 'colour' is used for video in windows, that is why, if you do a screendump of a video playing on your desktop and paste it into paint, you'll get a strange effect if you move the video window around 'behind' the paint window

So while it might look like DAoC is playing a video, it is actually just a 'window'(literally) into your desktop, where DivX or WMplayer will be playing the video.

Personally I cant see why they would want to make this illegal, or what laws they would quote, seeing as DAoC isnt actually doing anything (I could be wrong though ofc ).

I cant see how it would help anyway, I have enough trouble concentrating on everyone running around in rvr anyway without the added distraction of 2 (or more of course) people shagging in the corner of the screen.......

no really, tons of ppl on French servers have been doing it for a while now. Downside is that you either have to run windowed mode or synch your background resolution with your DAoC resolution
