I need to find a Button on my Mouse which lets me Nosedive onto Enemies... i have Lift Up but not down.. which is why i probably aint getting Plane Kills coz i cant get an Accurate Reading on where the person/s are

I've uninstalled nvidia refesh fix but the game still won't start

re-install the refresh fix but set the resolution that u wanna play the game in to 60hz in custom refresh rates. Kinda sux if u wanna play it in the same res as other games but, hey, the patch wont be too long.

Hmm.. the likeness between the Game and the Real Map is almost identical.. So all maps must be like this?

JUst played my first game of BF1942 before work today

wtf am I supposed to do?

I need to read the manual.

I managed to grenade a jeep with two of my people in it by accident and drove a plane into a tank with someone in it. I say drove as I couldnt get the thing off the ground

I dont think there is a Manual for this Game yet.. i learned by my (lots of) mistakes, and fixed em.. now i can finally do what ive been trying to do for ages... Fly a Plane, and kill Enemies! SO now i might try and land the Plane, this is one thing i aint good at yet, and when ive used up my Bombs its a pain in the arse getting low enough to pick em up.

Landing is pretty easy. Decide where you're going to land in advance then approach low, straight and hold down the key to reduce your speed. Once you touch down you come to a halt unnaturally quickly - not like landing in a flight sim. I've landed on the bridges a few times.

I find the best way to land is to point the plane where you want to land then bail out and repeatedly press 9 till your desent slows

I was pressing F9 and wondering why my legs fell off instead of the parachute coming out

Alterntively, when you bail out, aim for something, and press 9 just above the ground, that way you are less of a sitting duck, it's also a good way for nabbing tanks from under the enemy's nose

Psst. Actually allies can use artillery strikes. If you man the middle turret at the airfield you can hit most areas of the Island apart from the airfield itself. Just get a scout to spot for you and it works fine. Having the middle turret pound the ships using a scout to spot is pretty effective too.

Hell, you can scout for yourself. The spotter doesn't need to hold still. If you take a binocular snapshot of an area and peg it to a turret in a jeep you can start bombarding. It's just that there's a certain time limit to how long you can hit a spotted area for.

Sounds like too much effort, I'd rather let the planes sink the boats, that's what I pay my sexy pilots for heh
