this sounds like a paging problem, how much main memory (ram) do you have? if 512meg or less, this is why and you should have caching off, or on one of the low options, definatly not full.

I've started to get big lag too after patch when running 2 accounts no matter what cache options i try, had bot running very smoothly before now total crap ld'ing and crashing and stuff :(
Got 2ghz xp2400+, 768mb of ram and gf4ti4200 8x :(

If you're running 2 accounts on one box with 768mb ram total, half of that is 384mb. You'll be getting even less than that as the operating system and various other applications loaded beforehand will be using that memory too.

Select no pre-caching on both clients if you're using 2 clients with that amount of memory. It'll still be slow but you can't expect performance anyway.

Do some maths do some maths, it USED to work PERFECTLY before the patch. :twak:

Got the same problem here since the patch went live - stuttering frame rates.

However, ive noticed it only really happens in windowed mode.. full screen mode is still smooth.

i had loads of stuttering after patch, put cacheing thingy to full and now it runs like a dream :p
