Thinking about buying a Sony Ericsson W580i

Anyone tried one of these? I just had a K750i but a trip to Iraq and some other rough jobs kinda killed it

Well I havent tried that exact model. But I've had 2 other Walkman models and loved them both. Atm I am using a K800i because I wanted a good camera.
Don't think you can go wrong with the W-series.
Go down to your local store and try it out imo.

if you mean the W850i and not W580i i have one and its nice
edit: if your going on contract you can get freebies. i'm with yodafone and was looking at the prince plans online (contract) went into store to get the phone and spoke to randompleb#14, had a quick chat about why i wanted the phone etc... when i asked about the contract it was a couple of quid more expensive than the online price, so i asked why and he said that in store they dont do line rental discounts that they do online. So i said that i may as well buy it online (would probably save me about £30 over the 18 month contract, not much but every little counts). The blokey said that the advantage of buying it in the shop is that you can walk away with it in 20 mins, to which i replied but i'm not really in a rush for it. However i said, i could do with a bluetooth headset, so if you could throw one in then i'd get the phone now, randompleb#14 went to speak to his manager and it was agreed, so i got a £70 sony ericsson headset thrown in and i walked away with the phone

I can get one rather cheap as well, like 70£ including shipment etc all I have to do is sign a 6 months commitment to the company which is nps as they are the cheapest anyways i know the answer!!!!!!!

yea but how much after the first 3 months? and how long is the contract?
where contracts make money is when you go over the limit, thn they push up the prices and totally rip you off
