As a fire wizard it would take you 1-2 hours to farm enough cash for a fully SC 99% cloth set (about 1 plat total). As for items, use the same items EVERYONE else does. DF jewelry, cloak of renitency, Runic troll hide belt (or granite enhancement for melee chars), bracer of veiled eyes.


So, that's about 4 hours total time away from RvR to cap EVERYTHING.

I upload my profile pic, people slag my setup off to the ground. I point out that I haven't used any SC nor do I have the money to (if ur going to get SC get MP or its not worth it in the long run), plus some of the items that I _would_ want are in SI and not available yet. Yes, I could probably farm for a while and get some 99% gear. THATS NOT THE POINT. The point is that if people are going to insult me and my setup, they should at least be able to back it up with a better set themselves.

Forget it. Bring on SWG.

Since pretty much everyone elses posts have been somewhat unhelpful, I spent 5 minutes with the spell-craft calculator to come up with an inproved configuration for resists based on the Wizard Epic and items currently available in the game:

I'm assuming from your pic that you have AoM 1 (29% energy there, and thats not a racial resist.... correct me if I'm wrong)

Heat: 25 Spirit: 28 Slash: 25

good point, I don't see why everyone caps spirit though, about the only spell I can see thats spirit is spiritmaster single target mezz, and theres loads of matter spells inc some cc (druid insta aoe root for example) so to me it would make sense to cap matter and forget spirit, or is there a spell or 2 thats spirit I don't know about?

All Spiritmaster Suppression spec. i.e. Mezz, debuffs, PBAE.

Skald and Champion snare are also spirit.

Seriously though I just copied this for my alt's template with a few modifications. When you are using mp items you should be expecting to cap everything otherwise you might as well get 99% crap reserved for the peasants . Also go farm df for cash and seals (more cash) since albion have their fair share of it , then replace the weakest part of your epic 1 bit at a time or the cheapest bits (I got the gloves + boots first )

Edit: Ignore the hib only items - might be a tad hard to get hold of them being a alb and all.
