1 - Self respect.

2 - The respect of the others that play the game knowing how hard it is versus +20% damage opponents (ie. all Albs).

3 - Satisfaction from winning against the odds.

4 - Lots of ar-pees knocking down the warder zerg.

5 - Enough motivation in-realm to go take those relics back when 1.71 comes along and it swings back to Hib being the favoured realm.

Strong, inspiring, visionary people persevere in the face of adversity. Those who give up at the first opportunity need to give themselves a shake and realise that rising to a challenge is what drives humanity forwards...

Didn't say savages weren't overpowered. My eld died quite a lot to baduska and those other shit savages in bad omen. Glad they're gone, or at least seem to be. Still won't take out my eld just yet, need to toa her up a bit more. Funny that when the savages were at their most overpowered, I was playing pryd on the receiving end of them:-P
My concern was with baod, and if it hadn't been for baod, then mids and albs COULD have run debuff or pbaoe groups as a viable option. Well, actually, midget mafia on mid pryd did, and they did well, but there wasn't too much baod going around on hib pryd so it worked. Quite another story with excal hibs though. And one more thing, hib WAS easy mode before albs and mids got end regen. Remember the era of champ LW pwnage.

Hmm in case you guys didn't notice yet, patch 1.71 will be too late already. I can't honestly see people hanging in there for God knows how many weeks. Ow it's quite easy to quote famous words mate but it comes down to this: some people on here have a life as well and work. Work nowadays means stress; daoc is meant as relaxing not stressfull. You have two regular English servers and on one you have a pretty big imbalance; on the other one realm is underpopulated but the two others are still sort or less the same in numbers. On the server that is imbalanced you have a realm that thinks they invented "hot water" all of a sudden cos NF came out and a few weeks after NF going live the game has already ended there. Guess where anyone with a brain will be moving to..... Only Albs will stay on excal and the fact if that's because they don't have what I mentioned in my previous sentence I let you decide. ;-)

Please explain how Albs respect Hibs. You guys always conveniently forget to mention there are almost 40% more albs than hibs and you start about doing 20% more damage?

No offence but Hibs have always been bottom of the food chain being outnumbered all the time. The fact that you guys were not very well organised caused that not a friggin imbalance ingame (read numbers disadvantage). Yep it is a game but I have read so much crap here lately I wonder who should grow up. You call Hibs cry babies because there is some complaining now after 3 years being underpopulated? Maybe it's time to let that second braincell of urs kick in and do some overtime.

they dont ... have you noticed that when you meet a FGH or FGM with a FGA the enemy stops up ... like to think... "do we wanna run or figth" at that point they are both mezzed and 50% of em dead..

no, the sad thing is that from alb only 2 grps are trying from 300 players, the rest is at a keep wanking over the alb flag of justice, worshiping nf and the repayment of being underpowered (not that we saw many trying to do somethng about it) compared to the evul op mids and the rarely visible hibernian baod/gp midgets ><

can recall AD (+mix), Ailithel / Kerith grp, Southfield GG, Gwalmars grp (only saw them twice though).

Now thats not much FG-s from 48935734895357348 albs.

So, I've had a long good nights sleep, and I tell you .. sleep is alot better than watching the albzerg. Comments along the way made me laugh, quite the range. If I'm a crybaby, so what .. the game is for fun and when its not fun anymore, why bother playing. Thats not crybaby nor lame, its just common sense. I'll be around for 1.71, I doubt it will make the world of difference for this server, but atleast it will bring some relief to things. To the ones from hibernia that complained about this thread, I defended for 5+ hours straight last night before it got too late, albs became too many and it was time for bed. So say what you want ..

Hibs main problem is that they're still trying to run with Pre-NF group setups that just don't work well without GP.

The game has changed, you need to adapt to those changes...
