MOOO threads

Nah. The moo thread was legendary, but what was also nice is that most of us around back then understood that it would only be funny once. Couldn't do a thread like that anymore, nosiree.

On a similar vein: The Longest Story(s) in the World. And the thread when I drew a hunger inducing ASCII art sandwich.

More generally: I miss Quake 2. And being terrible at it. I miss Grey Area and how terrible we were. I kinda miss the Q2BattleUK league we ran, even though we were terrible at it*.

I miss that when you logged on to Barrysworld you felt like you were a part of something.

(* Actually, that's a bit harsh on the others who helped run Q2BUK. It did have some commendable moments. Such as the time GA nearly won a match. And the best free-for-all I ever had, one weekend when none of the teams showed up for fixtures. And the website was mint, except when I'd broken it.)
