It's not, and it's not. I do work to get paid, i don't dream about anything, i see something i want? I get it. Do i need to daydream and pine over something for it? No.

I don't need to test myself or push my boundaries as, evidently, unlike you, i know what i want and i know who i am. This seems to be your biggest problem, someone who actually knows these things.

I could sit here and say oh if I died tomorrow then it would be okay, of course it would I have had a good life, I have experienced love, lust, heartache, success, loss, death of closde friends and family and witnessed the birth of life before my eyes.

But would I be content? no way would I, I want to experience my Daughter growing up, I want to see Transformers 2, I want to see England win the World Cup, I myself want to retire early and I have to be successful with my remaining eyars to make that happen.

There are people that want to achieve things and there are people that are happy with what they are thrown.

Dreams/ambitions there is only one thing that sperates these things from the people that achieve them and the people that don't.. Self belief.

I can see that you always want better, faster, harder and so forth, you have dreams and things you need to get done and so forth.

While that is, can't you see that i might have gotten everything out of life that i want?

This does not mean that i want to die, or that i won't do stuff, or that i won't work if for example a trip to the bahamas peeks it's head in my mind.

Not having dreams or ambitions doesn't have to exclude doing stuff. 'cause that's what i basically do, stuff. I usually don't plan further then a week from now because i don't have a need to do so.

Actually it's very peaceful, i have loads of fun and i don't stress about stuff beyond minor inconviniences that are in a short term solution column.

It's just a different, more "in the moment" living.

That is not meant to be disrespectful either, I have been in that boat myself sat in a comfortable job life passing me by. Making the cahnge because you want to brings out a whole new set of challenges and opportunities.

Everyone gets to confortable/bored the pro active people go out and make the change because they know it's for the better, the other guy sits there till they find him dead at his desk having done shit all.

They will take something if it is given and it suits them, if they actually had to go and ask for it they would not beother, because it would be seen as a waste of time in their own eyes.

I have no problems with people dreaming small just don't post on an internet saying you have done everything that you have ever wanted to do by the time your 30 because you are lying.

As a small example I recall you having a fascination with Mila whatshername, if she turned up on your door you would bang her, (or in your case probably not if you didn't feel like sex that night) but if you actually had to put in a bit of leg work before yhand you would not bother.
