As Vincent Vega once said, "It'a been worth his doin' it, if I coulda just caught 'em doin' it".

I would so love to catch one of these scrotes in the act, even if it wasn't my own property. I get fucked off just watching the fuckers on SWAG when they're just about to make off with someones car (had it been real)

I was broken into overnight on Thursday, they took the keys and made off with my car (6 months old) and my Dad's motorbike (2 months old).

The cocks also took the dyson and a small wooden rabbit.

scum, scum... sub-human scum.

Did you find the rabbit?

BTW I have a tracking device on my car, so I don't worry much.

but Tom, what happens if you track down your car to a burnt-out wreck in a wood somewhere? scumbags should keep their filthy hands off other peoples property :/

I had a Tracker in my previous car. It's nice n' all, but as TdC says - would you even want your car back if someone had basically ripped up the insides?

Well i had my mobile nicked on saturday. Supposidly some shifty eastern europeans were drifting round the pub. Turned round to say bye to some mates turned back round and phone gone!
Totally pissed off. More poor T68i

:(

Well I have a nice enough car that only professional thieves can take, and that would most likely be stripped or exported. The point is that while working I normally have some pretty expensive equipment in the boot, if it got nicked I stand a fair chance of getting it back again.

Of course its all insured, but buying all the equipment would be a massive pain in the arse.

there ain't no tealeaf getting their hands on my Golf tbh. The previous owner put 3 immobilisers and a Scorpion alarm on it. Breaking into it would be more hassle than a Golf GTi is worth.

Four weeks ago some bastard smashed my front passenger window and rummaged around inside to see if there was anything to nick. They didn't take anything but it cost me 50 quid for the window replacing and its gonna cost another 160 or so to get the framework repaired where the screwdriver took off the paint and damaged the body/window frame.

To top it all off I came out of the cinema last night to find my car sat on three bricks. The fuckers had nabbed off with all my wheels :-(

In a right fucking mood now, gurr.

gah :/ no security cams anywhere?

probably all been asked, but I notice that there are quite a few people on the boards that have been robbed/burgled/had property vandalized, some even multiple times. pretty bad state :/

Fucking hell, I'm lucky then. Never had anything of any particular worth stolen :/

What sort of areas do you all live in? I live in a little cul-de-sac in a small village, so I guess it's fairly unlikely anyone's going to target us.

They have security cameras aye but they dont record anything, besides, they've let the wildlife "decor" get in the way and block their view out. It's a showcase cinema, they don't give a shit tbh, they charge a fucking fortune anyways.

Stand outside with a sandwich board with 'CAR THIEVES AT WORK HERE BE CAREFUL NO SECURITY PROVIDED' and they might change their policy......

that is rather shitty indeed. they charge a fortune, yet do bloody fa to secure the area. good grief. sad thing is that I have no idea how to present a sollution :/

perhaps an irate letter to some local newspapers may force them into activity? at least that way nobody else gets cunted :(

Our local showcase cinema used to be the worst carpark in Bristol for car theft. Now half (!!) the car park has CCTV and the other half has security patrols.

However, Ive still had my car broken into there...

List of stuff robbed from me in Bristol in the last 10 years;

- 3 car stereos (2 of em which were already broken, 1 worked okay)
- 4 car break in's just to see if there was anything worth nicking (There wasnt)
- 1 car totally stollen
- The house front door kicked in and some bloke slept in the lougne over night (All of us were mashed upstairs and slept through it. Woke in the morning to find front door open and stranger in house....)
- Mugged once.

- And on a slightly different note, my car has been scratched and dented due to the morons who cant parallel park on no less than about 15 occasions, and once a van drove into the wing of my motah and fucked off.

Oh and at Glastonbury last year some toe-rag crow-barred open the passenger door and put through a back window for the sheer hell of it.

I have come to the conclusion that everyone except myself is a cnut.

:(

had 3 stereos stolen and house broken into once.

last stereo that was stolen was outside local club last year.

guy who did it bragged to a bloke who told my gf's brother as hes a mate.

gf's brother got me money to buy a new stereo and money for window but wouldnt tell me who it was.

guy paid gf's brother 800 quid in the end and shit himself incase i found out who it was. he didnt know it was my car but he knows of me apparently.

stereo was worth 200 quid and window was 20 quid from scrappy so i considered it a result when all is said and done.

(id still like to know who it was tho)

Some days ago somebody stole nearly a full crate of beer from me. I had been in my room mostly all day and went out to eat an hour or so, and when I came back somebody had stolen the beer from my balcony. There is more than 2,5 meters to the ground so how the hell did he get up there? Or more interesting, how did he get down with 30 filled glass bottles in a plastic crate?
