Thidranki - Most Wanted!

Well, finally took my nightshade alt Tremayne into Thidranki today, and I already have someone on my target list...

Thanks for demonstrating just how important Stealth spec is to us Assassin types, I've been remedying that and will be back Unless I miscounted, you handed me 3 of my 5 deaths today (and as one of the others was another infiltrator one-shotting me just after I'd been rezzed and the damn druid couldn't be arsed to heal me further, you dished out 3 of the 4 that mean anything). Hope to see you soon... ideally before you see me

Thanks also to Smave for my first RvR with Tremayne. You spotted me before I could PA, you were the one with the plate armour and the greatsword, and STILL you were the one who had to turn tail and run back up to the keep. Hope you enjoyed the poison!

um people who get known for their killing are the people who kill someone infront of alot of enemies and get away with it alot of the time.

ive killed alot of people but since im neva alone because im make of tissue i dont get mentioned

Aye, you have it right. And it is the name given to me after the old language. My brother Pwylw shall hopefully be joining me in Thidranki before I am forced to move on. Those three assassinations were only a small fraction of the roughly 40 to 50 I performed this day. Please, tell Luon, that I never left, I just felt bad for targetting him so many times ( ) and left you all to fight the other Albions for a while.

Not only stealth, but poison as well. Saryasha is one point better in stealth than I, but my poison is more powerful. Quite a few people die to my poison.

To the midgardians that, well, attempted? to attack our keep. I hope you enjoyed yourselves. At one point, your shadowblades outnumberred our infiltrators. I laugh a lot when I stood on the one large rock at the bridge, and could see them all waiting below...a blind shadowblade, is a dead shadowblade. Were it not for your extreme damage with two handed weapons, you would die more than any other class. That is your only saving grace. I enjoyed especially when your shadowblades tried to sneak up the hill to attack someone. All I needed to do was hit them, inject my poison, and let everyone else tear them apart. <snickers>

Hibernia, finally, you came. And thank you so much for enterring Thidranki. Only one thing. I tried my best not to kill too many of you, and went so far as to attack Jezara (Shadowblade) when she attacked one of yours. I understand why you would turn on me, but know this, if I see a Midgardian, no matter who he is attacking, he, or she, shall be my first target.

To Kiria, norse skald, traitor, betrayor of the Order, I stalked you for a good ten minutes. From when you crossed the river into Albion territory, to when you sat behind the tree, to the time I took your head. The trophy shall be deliverred to Lord Ironhand when next I see him.

I fear my time in Thidranki draws to a close soon. I shall remain as long as I can. One question I do have, is how is it that when we attacked Thidranki Faste, the guards spawned mainly orange and a few times red, and quite fast, whereas now, we have fewer, they spawn slower, and they are mostly yellow. Surely this is not right?

Aye fellow Infiltrator Pwyiw, I have merely one stealth more, and you say it does make a difference, though I suck at tracking, which you are much better at, which nullifies that one point pretty much.

And that poison, yes, powerful, high CS, high Poison and High stealth is the way If an 2h sb catches up with me I'm dead no matter how high i spec weap ;> should try not speccing it at all next time

Had great fun with my minstrel Shaya last night tho, mezz really comes in handy when mids try to run away

I do hope your char is not built just for Thidranki Pwyiw. Last night I put my 1st level on my SB in readiness for Murd and Cal (I stopped playing annoyed at my own stupidity of hitting 25 before the patch) and am so looking forward to meeting some infs and sharing the delights of both my axes. Perhaps i'll even make it to Caledonia before they nerf Doublefrost in 1.50.

A pity albs almost never show up 1on1 though. Beckon dont seem to work on albs either.

Everytime I die there seems to be 2-3 times more albs than mids.

Got stabbed by 3 infils when I waved/hidd from 2 hibs near their pk.

Charged 5 albs at midbridge with a berz friend and killed 3 before I died. (kill stealed for the berz before he died)

Why wont you ever come up and duel. Even you infils. Show your self and duel me instead. If you are solo I can understand but you never are.
I can accept a 2vs1 duel against infils to. Would be fun to test the outcome of that. To bad you come in throngs though.

Soon have to leave thidranki. ;(

I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with 2/3 infils taking down one target. It's fast, efficient, and means any SB/NS nearby won't be able to get to you fast enough. There have been many times where I've watch (and taken part in) the taking down of one skald/thane by 4/5 infils. The target doesn't even get a chance to blink.

No infil in his right mind sets out to duel. We are assassins, we go out to kill vital and wounded targets. I will never take on a chainmail/scalemail wearing target unless it's already engaged in combat, not at full health, or unless I have backup.

I'm a survivalist, I don't see the point in trying to kill hard/impossible targets. And I sure as hell am not interested in duels.

Well, first of all, i start with Leclya, level 24 sorc i believe...
Since i play my hunter, i usually critshot.....but then her god damn bladeturn is there, so no critshot.... ok, i shoot away an other shot....maybe hit her, maybe it's a miss. Now she either cast or quickcast mez at me... I stand tehre, as a fool. She comes up to me, with her pet besides and just look at me... not attacking or aynthing, just looking... then if she got people with her, she normally attacks me. Otherwise she just let me away, with a few attacks from her pet.

I don't think I ever have killed her totally by myself, have killed her quite a few times when she's been attacked by others.

And, I would also like to say kitkat is one of my favorite targets, he's a lvl 24 Scout atm i think. We usually wave at eachother, and then the sniper duel is going . Not sure what the K/D ratio is at, but i think it's quite even....even tho im only 23.

And, then goes Rallan, a Cleric I believe he is..... always since that duel yesterday i've hated you

I just wanted to tell you all albs/hibs... If i ever sit down (which i usually do when i have no chance) when you are comming at me, please dont kill me...okey to hit me a little. But I would rather die in a Duel. And I like duelling with albs and hibs.... everytime i go out early to bg, when there almost aint no1 online I try to get any hib/alb to duel me, instead of killing the only enemy around...why not have some fun instead?

That's new to me, Hibs a serious threat in Thidranki? Thought this was Albion/Midgard-only thing goin on there. Ok, saw some occational hib guest players - but I can't tell often be killed by hibs really.

Feh Duels indeed. Anyone stupid enough to sit down in a 'hot' zone is asking to be killed. Expect death often in the frontier if that's your way of communicating.

Oh and Pyw - tracking is not a vital inf skill. That's more for scouts really or minstrels more likely because of speed. Infiltrators should follow the maxim

It is something that comes with patience, and practice. I am still learning to be honest. Although I imagine that those mids I killed near to yggdra border keep probably think i'm not bad at it

Was fun, until you had just too many people for me to be able to strike <grin> two yellows (including one shadowblade) two blues (a thane and a hunter if I'm not mistaken) and a grey or two was just too risky!

Hmmm I was fighting an orange con Highlander and a orange con minstrell same time , managed to kill the highlander , and the minstrell got away with not wery much life left.. too you minstreel I will get you next time

hehe, you say the hibs are never in thidranki? the first time i took my zerker into the place i ran out of the castle with my skald friend only to find a full group of the scum killing everything in range...

so i zerked and ran at them and hit a firbolg warden. once. then me and skald friend were dead... :/

i think i did this twice and gave up
