Thidranki - 14.09 - 15.09

Just some comments about this weekend. No offence - only my opinion. If it sounds bit n00by - do not kill me
Some comments about realm forces:
Gratz to albs - cause they are most organized force in Thidranki. Sad true that we midgardians often win because we outnumbered albs or hibs. But albz were really good I remember how amazing sometimes they worked in group. (One mezz, another nuke etc).
Especially thx for some lessons to Bumble and Necron u r awesome.
Hibbz - u had very well balanced groups sometimes - but when u saw some running to u trolls - u bravely run away at that moment Do not do this! Really u can win when u stick together, but when we slain u one by one on the sprinting - u have not chances.
Gratz to sucsessful lurikeens I remeber only VenomousBlades but there was even champions!
MidzzZ It was pleasure to play with u m8s. Sometimes we falled near apk in rush (stupid death btw lol) sometimes we sit inside ck and tried to get some enemies from walls and cried at our dead guards But it was fun.
Especially - thx for good teamwork - Cessa, Jmib, Danish, Baklan, Emrin, Kunning (i hope i spell it right), Rendon, Sku, Dandan, Kili, Argus etc.! All of u r pretty good I hope c u at next BG

Glad to hear your having fun out there m8, I am afriad I only have 15 silver to my name and blue con armour so you may not see me till me funds r a bit better.

The very same bumble who was using PA through the Thidranki keep doors???
You killed me using a cheap bug m8'y so i would definately not say your great.

why dont you run outside and PA someone and leg it back inside?
i have seen some very skilled infils do this and kill people without exploiting a wall bug.

as most Albions and Hibernians know i always salute and bow to a worthy kill.

There are too many to name here because most of you guys gave me a run for my money and made me work for the kills.
You sir got jumped on for a few mins while i laughed and banged my shield at you.......

Also i thank all you Albs and especially the Hibs last night who saluted me
Makes me feel happy knowing your not all in gank squad mode with the laughing and mocking...

Swords

FYI the only reason I was PAing through the doors was cos I was the only one defending at the time, I have never done this before and if there was more ppl defending I would never have done it then.

And swords I had used the PA and run back inside method already, but your spirit master that was there sent the pet through the door and killed me each time :/

PAing through the door was my last resort to try and slow u lot down and I did not use it very much, 8 times I think I used it and only killed 2 or 3.

I apologise if that got ya backup but there was very little else I could do at the time. I will avoid taking such measures next time tho.

I always try to bow to the dead including you swords, dont use this one time to judge me by. It was a one off and will not be done again (if we ever get the keep back).

And you got me the other day as i left from a scout about at your PK.
I saw you coming towards me and decided to try and outrun you hoping to lure you out.
Out you came but you got a BS on me, still my m8 got you so no biggie

Late Sunday night whilst bashing stuff with a m8, in spind I saw the shout on alliance that a keep taking group was forming in thid. Having a 24 Skald who had been sat in the PK for about 4 weeks due to having parts for 2 Rams (or so I thought). This was due to a raid going pearshaped those 4 weeks earlier, when everyone logged whilst I was going back and forth to vault getting the parts (Yes when I get bored I walk to Bledmeer and pick up a couple of parts, wish others would do the same!).
So I logged in Snibson and started PM'ing peeps to find out what was happening, who else had rams, etc. General consensus was we just about had the manpower, but I was only one with rams. So whilst waiting for a troll or 2 to come and releave me of a couple of parts so I could move again, I counted up the parts and realised I was a ram cladding missing (Which I last night found in the corner of my main characters vault). So rather than call it all off, I said we'd have to try and bash the first door and use the ram on second.
We formed up at base of hill dealt with guards and started bashing, them doors weren't moving :/
Then Bumble turned up to defend, "K we've been busted lets get this thing done b4 re-inforcements arrive" I shouted, I built the first ram and started bashing. Then My baby started crying so I had to go AFK, I asked if anyone knew how to control a ram and someone said yes so I apologised, explained and went AFK.
Apparently No-one had a clue My m8 from spind had logged in his warrior and was making his way from Gna to aid us b4 I went afk, it wasn't till he arrived that the ram was controlled but by the time he got there it was already a bit beaten up, he wasn't to know what was happening so he didn't have any wood on him for repairs, so it was destroyed with the 1st door at about 5%.
This is about were I came came back.
Got Rezzed (Had to run off to feed baby and left Snibby bang outside the doors of the keep). Jumped up and bashed the last bit of health off the door and started on number 2.
Again we ain't even scratching the varnish. After 5 mins it was decided we needed that cladding for the other ram if we wanted to stand a chance.
No one had a cladding in thier vault, I shouted on alliance begging for one, no response. So off I set to bledmeer at skald speed, managed to avoid all mobs but one invisable (Damn you Snow!) purple ++++++++ golem type beastie, who although didn't hit me goddam nuked me for 75% of my HP. Got to bled Bought the part, suicided on the nearest mob I could find and went back to thid.
Arriving at the doors I yelled "K back with cladding gimme rest of the parts" which I recieved pretty quickly, apart from the wood.

I'd just run through the middle of lvl 24 hell to get a part, and no-one had taken two minutes to get some wood from the merchant. Throwing the parts at the nearest 2 trolls I set of to the merchant. When getting there I realised I'd run out of cash at 120 wood so called for some assistance. (Sorry m8 can't remember your name but thx), the kobbie stealther who was the first one to listen and help when I turned up with the rams, came to my aid with Aesgir.
Wood sorted, back to the keep, bash the door down, Splat the lord.

Bloody hard work but a result in the end.

How we managed it with that much time taken and so few men I'll never know. Well done all GJ.

But guys for future reference A ram needs :

2 Swing harnesses
1 Ram Beak
1 Ram Cladding
300 Ironwood

Other wood can be used but anything less ends up with weaker ram. A bit of extra woood if room can be used to repair ram if defenders are giving it a kicking (Never mucked about much when building rams so not been there long enough to find out how much wood you need for repairs).

yeah you sounded pretty peeved about the wood thing.
I was busy eating dirt at that point cos of said PA incident.....
also i ended up with 2 swing harnesses right near the door. i coulnt move i couldnt hit the doors and Bumble was near so i coulnt stealth.

That was why i screamed a couple of times for someone to take a swing harness cheers whoever it was i forget the name now.

It was good fun though
