Thid....Finally some action

The difference between one shotting an orange and not managing the same on a blue might quite simply be buffs btw. My level 20 shammy was shocked last night in keep defence to see 2 other shamans and (OMG!) a healer

Suffered my 2nd and 3rd death in Thid also last night. Against one infi I have a very good chance of surviving as they don't like to stick around and I can patch myself up, 2 crit strikes + poison within a second = game over

Keep defence was great last night. Had a ton of fun!

Im the SB out there with pisspoor stealth I can be seen more than a bridge length away..

but as some infils found out yesterday, PA'ing a shadowzerker just makes him mad

Advice to Infils and Nightshades. Just ignore SB's, don't try hunt them unless there's more of you (assassins) and you have other classes to support you who not running around like headless chickens.

Just go for their runeys. The kobolds are nice and soft.

Heehee I got a lvl 24 infil in the US and it owns SB one on one .. never died to one yet. Yeah two handed does more dmg .. but as long as u keep movin its hard for them to getthe CS in anyway

If you attack first its even easier .. specially when i got 25 stealth most other stealthers i see miles off

Been in Thid for about 8 hrs now and not died once. Just runnin low on poison now :/

word of advice though, dont run accross your own bridge unstealthed again like you did today and yes your right, i did try to pa you while you were facing the wrong way, thats how good an infil i am

as for my bg stuff...

auto stealth till 24, then slap it to 19 (24 with items)
CS21
slash 17
evenom 18


gives me a good snare + debuff, which is what i use for my first 2 poisons, my last one i use is the lvl 15 poison, which aint good but does the trick.

items i use:

crypt robbers bracer
bracer of arms
2 x siths tail (i dont have any better )
a whole suit of molded leather - the boots
catskin boots
armlet of feline graces (lvl 12 quest from trainer)
gem of shadowy intensions
keltoi belt of agility.

weapons:

2 x crafted enchanted fine alloy jambiyas (9dps 2.6spd)
1 x crafted enchanted fine alloy bastard sword (8.7dps 4.5(?) spd)

i bugged hendrick to make them and rebuild em ( i seriously owe you for that, thanks) and i got 94% + 97% jambs, and the swords 97%. unbelievable damage output mate, you cant get better.

open with a PA, if i miss uppercut + opal slash then garotte otherwise just garotte them to death

poison use: snare on hte sword, debuff on the right jamb, poison on hte left. chances of al 3 landing aint great, but i consider the dot least useful which is why its only hte right jamb.

Dearest Myshra, you underestimate the power of the lethal poisons. Many midgardians can testify from beyond the grave to the lethality of the 20th level poison. doing 30-35 damage per tick and if my disease lands, means that they either die from the poison, or can be chased down easily.

When I PA someone, it immediately adds that 30-35 damage into the first hit. Which can often decide on life or death. Respect DoT poisons, some enemies have slain me, only to die seconds later from my poison.

20 +5 stealth (auto trained to 24)
18 Slash
21 CS for the PA
15 Env

I let the others deal with the tanks Although Blue con hibbie tanks walk away with 1/4 health after a PA which is nice.

Seems to work well and I see most others before they see me.

Moriath, come play tonight, and if Natt, Bloodied and Cabo pitch, we'll let you go one-on-one with them, then see you change your story. Until we pass into the late 30's. SB's will beat us one-on-one. IMHO.

If infils could wield 2-H weapons, well, SB's would be a very rare breed.

Oh my. I just researched those weapons you use, and because I have no training in weapons, I would surely love to acquire two of those.

Anybody in Albion able to acquire two of these for me would have my undying gratitude.

At present, I am using nothing that I have been unable to acquire at my level. Some of it is blue and some borderline yellow. Only the cat hide boots are orange.

Some people have the advantage of higher seasoned cousins.

With a nice set of 30th season leather and those two weapons, I do believe I could become quite lethal.

im still lacking an observers helm and crypt robbers bracers, they seem to be very rare.

Otherwise im skilled as follows at lvl 22:

Stealth 19
Crit 21
Envenom 11
Thrust 15

plus items: Gem of shadowy intentions and the Cloak of Shades are my only good gear so far, aside from my weapons wich are truly nice and a gift from sma:

roman decorated stiletto with +3 or +2 thrust, Bone Gladius and a Dark Gauche.
