umm i wouldn't say theres a best player in thid atm .. more than likely with clustering more experienced players will be rolling some thid toons, so urm expect a lot of good players all round

Although I voted yes for clustering I will really miss the pryd bg1, which has always been a nice refuge if excal was boring.

Well m8 one thing u will NOT see my nightshade do,my play style is kill or die trying as most people on excal bg will no i will atm only play thid again when clustering comes as my ns is boring when theres not much solo action, duo = K maybe can kill both but if both tank uhhhh CRAP lol.... well im looking forward to seeing u all on me ns il be watching out for Stoptryingtohitme the most as is irl m8 anyway lets see how clustering in BG1 goes for all of us cya all then

Hmm, I usually see a whole different side from Excalibur Thidranki. I rarely get zerged, I often get hugged and kissed and have quite a few duels as well . Sure, there often are a lot of people in thidranki, but solo is still possible.

I don't see what your problem is with the guild groups either. They're almost never more than 4 and guild groups are only in there for the group fights which means they won't kill every solo'er they see. If you face a group as a solo'er, your chances of surviving are 10x larger when it's a guildgroup. Just don't attck them, hug them instead. They might kill you once, but I'm pretty sure they won't next time you meet them. I would really like some more explanation about why it's so sad.

Excal BGs is sooo much better than pryd BGs currently. There is acctualy action, I have run out solo as my paladin beofre and run into many other soloers and had decent fights. I also run with 2 friends regularly, and we often run into between 2 - 8 people (with a decent mezz we often win too). My memories from pryd BGs was that albs were plentiful and only really stealthers about.

Excal BGs yes stealthers add and leech on absoulutely everything, but you learn to cope and stay away from the bridges as much as possible. When clustering I think it would be really nice to see some guild groups running, and I personally am kinda hoping for a old version of emain only with more thought for others. i.e. our group on excal won't kill people unless they are equal numbers + or are BD, whorelock, any of EV to try and get them to whinge and bring a group out... hasn't worked yet :< .

I agree with the fact that thid GGs are sad - To the hib one on excal, why do you do it? Is it because you can't cut it in real RvR and want to feel leet because you own players who are still learning to play?

Hib Excal/Alb Pryd - main chars on Pryd - Excal is fine - plenty of all types of action with the right ppl on the server - Blokkie /hug - nearly always to be found at HB when on and always up for some 1 on 1 - Couple of Troll Skalds running as a duo - they good for 2 v 2 - as for Pryd - BG1 is fine - can be quiet and easier to get 1 on 1 out of peak, Molvik and Leirvik are a bit quiet and will benefit from clustering. I have generally run solo most of the time - only grouping for keeptakes/defence - plenty of grps will zerg you - just as many will leave you be or stop and spectate whilst you take on 1 of their grp - hey its supposed to be war so expect no mercy - but also remember you gets what you gives. Shame Warlocks are getting a nerf was just getting the hang of them not so OPd once you work them out, best 1 on 1 fights I get on my Mincer are v Skalds - always close and make you work hard. Worst class to fight is a Bard - they just run away with end running for extended sprint

Same could be said about anyone with spellcraft and/or a buffbot, really. Players new to the game who are still learning probably won't have either.

I have no problem admitting I play Thidranki because I cannot cut it at 50. That is a fact and I'm not going to deny it. I play Thidranki, because at level 50 I would get beaten every single time due to a sucky spellcraft and lack of bot. I don't see the fun in that, so I go to Thid where I do stand a fair chance versus most opponents. true, against some I will almost guaranteed win, but I don't find those fights fun, so I try to avoid them. Often I even get killed by a bluecon, because he/she doesn't get that /no means "don't attack me, I don't want to fight".

My guess is players who run guildgroups in Thidranki feel the same. They can't be bothered with the grind at 50, so they go to Thidranki instead. I'm pretty sure that's the reason why they're there as they don't appear to me as people who get a kick out of beating opponents who don't stand a chance. Why else would they ask for Midgard and Albion to roll a guildgroup as well? (e.g. here and here)

So, in short: people do these things because they don't want to spend countless of hours doing something they hate (getting ML's, leveling artifacts, farming item x,...). If that's what you consider as sad, then I'm sorry for the rant, but to me it looked like you misinterpreted the situation .

Whats sad about thid is that too many people want to be 1337, ie grab a bb, grab best sc armour that they can find then get an uber group :<

Thid should be a load of unbuffs nubs running around in keltoi gear, with thier clerics smiting all thier power away

Best times in thid was when I played my infil Saiyanheat with Romao duo rocked givf his hax0r skillz again somehow he used instant stuns mincer eh OP bastards

last time i was in excal i was playing a merc in a guild grp we were ubah lvl 21-23 in free armour we were so fking 1337 it was amazing! my dmg was pwn i would often hit for like 20 dmg mainhand GUILD GROUPS FTW MEIGHTS!!! I still have that merc and it rox :kissit: although I got pwned by the thid DoT on a whorelock that is the same as my lvl 50 shamans like 8X+ per tick I'm from mid and think they suck skill less mother fucker FOAD!!! I actually don't know anyone with one who I play with I'm so cool

played a dark SM on pryd it was pretty funny just running with a cave shaman roleplaying defending the CK from albs nuke nuke dead nuke nuke nuke nuke nuke nuke the force is strong in this one... nuke nuke nuke nuke OOP QQ wheres my 3 point MCL hoes! another time it was like - albs NE!!! ... I have no compas WTF!?!? mezzed...I like lying on the floor /release I still have no compas to this day just glad I'm not a pac healer tbh...

Clustering should be fun not like I intend to return to the BG often...some nights in real RvR you wonder why clustering is even needed ^_^

Imo 'the way it should be' IS where everyone has uber armor. Surely everyone strives to make their character a good one? Which means equipping yourself with decent gear, no matter what level, especially if u decide to go to a BATTLEGROUNDS where the main objective is to kill other players.

Don't get me wrong i know what u are getting at, but with the game being over 3 years old, ppl aint gonna still be running around in rawhide leather armor like in the old days.

I will run without buffs on merc/inf/arms till we see what cluster like :kissit:

I know what excals like, have chars there. And no, thid 1 shouldnt have the 1337 armour because a lot of the players for thid go with the stuff they get for free from the capitol city. Also I know that in excal thid, you might find 1 fg of randoms with rogs on

If you agree that buffs are wrong, then why by a bb account? Surely with your uber 1337, omg we can pwn unbuffed rog people, gank group there is no use for buffs.

You want to have a challenge, get yuor group to 50 and artied up(will take about 1 month) then go out into real rvr and meet a group like pe, malstrom, legacy, rising force or even Evitas group.

Then you know what fg vs fg rvr is all about.
