Seen this before, unfortunately western types are rarer, its easier to hire hordes of chinese.

The other option is slave wage for like $8/hr in call centre type buildings, I've talked to some people who've done it.

I'm unsure about this sort of thing. It's hard to gauge just how successful these people are. If a game's good then it won't just be these OGM's pimping the game and if a game's shite then there'll be a ton of other people telling him he's wrong and it's shite. He may well influence a few sales but ultimately if a game's shite, it won't sell and if the game's good it'll sell itself because he won't be the only one raving about it.

I know this viral marketing nonsense goes on, we (not Freds, work) get offers of it more and more now. Personally, I think its an enourmous risk, just look at the reactions here, but you cant deny the power of the concept. I simply value real people giving real opinions more than a "real" review of something. Of course, you have to filter through the venting and faboyisms, but you get used to that after a while. Or do we? Yes we do. Must have faith in the intercybervirtualwebnet, I cba with the alternatives.

I know a sony tester and they get all the consoles free and can buy them at a discount for friends apparantly

I was going to apply to do 3rd line server work at sony, but forgot dagnabbitt
