As many of my friends may have noticed i havent been online for ages.. (before all the fotm whines come in about NF being the problem.. it was before NF i became inactive) I just simply find little pleasure in the game now, i played alot out of wanting to play with my friends but its not enough now.. espeially when most of them i can phone up and chat to or use irc to chat with them... alot cheaper than paying for a game which i cant even be bothered to log into anymore.

My history in this game begins 3 years ago when i started with some of my best friends, Deity/Deito/Knave/Nova, Tyreus, Ssminowjohnson/TJB/Completeandutter... we had alot of fun.. and then joined different guilds. They joined Soul Reavers, and i joined Axiom Knights.. a guild that to this day i miss more than any other, a guild which made boreing aspects of this game more fun than i could have imagined. Back then i was one of the first 6 BMs to ding 50, and one of the first to ding RR5, and second to have my very own EBoP . However, all must things must come to an end, and unfortunatly for AK they came to a drastic end which i will always regret. I had a short stint in a guild created by myself and some friends called Ethereal Flame (twas a sweet name), but we finally merged with Amicitae Renitus however this was short lived and the guild broke up. I then moved on to Brotherhood Of Hibernia where i was currently seeing one of thier GMs (Jula) who is not only my GF but one of my Best Friends, i enjoyed my time there alot, where i tried my hardest to bring RvR to the guild.. unfortunatly some things happened beyond my control and i descided to leave. There i found myself joining Llaw Arian, in the hope that my love of RvR would keep me in DAoC, it worked for a short time, i got to do something i loved in the game everyday, sometimes it was good and sometimes bad. I also discovered that some people in the game change as thier RR gets higher in some cases its sad to see but i suppose it happens when you are hyped up to be better than you really are.

Anyway, now i am leaving DAoC because i dont want to play it and i am moveing to WoW, because i enjoyed the US Beta, u suppose i shall see many of you there... i will probably use my usual names Vantros, Delerium, Ignorant, Methos (if i can get it), Inkling.... so if u see any of these names running about it just might be me.. so send me a whisper and we can chat.

Jula will have my account to use to pay for the house untill she descides if shes selling up and leaving to or not.... so if u see my char on its not me. (cept the 1 day i will log on to have 1 last play with some of my friends)

Vulcan - one of the best m8s and GM's (AK) i coulda known, i am glad to know u m8 and good luck on RR10 before u come to WoW... u got me number stay in touch.. oh and i am so glad i won have to trust ytour sense of direction again... only person i know other than Kelpie you can drive to Emain and end up in Cursed Forest.. MONKEH!!!
Miss - another good m8 and amazeing GM (LA), always available to listen and laugh at the joke OMG they Killed KENNY! and my /em Spanks Miss macro partner .. stop screaming for help m8
Spleen/Peroxide/Event - a fellow weegie, good m8, good bard, ok BM (you so wish u was me.. only jokeing bro).. cya in WoW.. and get a new phone u chea skate ><
Twisting - good laugh.. especially when u got huffy and mad... good bard.. and it seemed that when u was drunk u could mezz anything... just proves u really should drink more often m8.
Ingen & Davidandgoliath - ok im doin u both 1 between u 2.. you are both great m8s.. knwon u for ages since my days when i was guildless (before AK), both great players.. and great m8s.. catch yaz in WoW m8s.. and this time get a copy each.. not one between u.. i wanna play with both at same time m8s
Athina/Roofio/Moofio - i remember when u was all young lvl 20's and i took Athina to CF to power lvl on Leps.. and omg u still have the 4 leaf clover i gave u for luck.. i am so proud to have knwon you 3.. stay in touch
Gray - Only ranger i know who can go 3 weeks none stop RvRin and make 1k rp.. only kidding m8 (well not really).. good luck bro and congrats on the wife.. u know what i mean.. stay in touch.. hopefully get a piss up going at Vulcs when i return from Hawaii in Jan.
Kelpie & Koyaa(i aint even gonna try and spell it) - your both rocks... absolutly fantastic freinds, you helped me when i was going through a rough patch and your both such great people.. oh and Kelps.. CS means Cyber Sex...

Well as they say Steph all good things must come to an end. Had some great laughs in daoc as they used to call us the Van & Vulc show no bugger was safe from a slagging, but I hope most took it in the spirit it was meant

RR10 is tougher to get now cos even my playtime has been cut back, Hibs isnt the same, Albs with 4 relics still fkin easy mode the only group worth a mention is BF the rest just zerglings that wouldnt know a fg v fg if they saw the setup. But i digress.

Will like most go see what wow is like, all the old names we started playing beta daoc & commercial are heading there, check out and register on the old ND forum www.newdawn-daoc.co.uk and say ello to some of them & keep in touch till ya come back in Jan.

Like all peeps who have a history me and you have had our ups and downs but we always sorted them out and came up smiling.

Without you, Julz, Alex and Matt I would have probably got nowhere in daoc. Leaving boh was damned tough for me.

Sometimes the temptation to reinstall is strong but it has to be resisted for my sanity and I would guess yours also.

Vantros was one of those toons that everyone knew - I was playing a s/s luwihero when I saw ure bm soloing purps in DF - thought to myself hmm this hero sux but vantros looks ugleh - Im gonna roll a firby bm
