The forums fine, its faster if anything.

New look is nice, I have even got used to the sub-groups now they are colour coded.

All we need is a customisable favourites start page to display your choosen forums.

OKay i found a descrepency.

When you load the main forum page all the showing forums, Community and BW one, have last post details, including the name of the last active thread. However in the sub groups this isnt so, it just lists the last poster not the active post.

I've found no problem as I previously said and I disagree with mr MYstIC G for initially flaming without offering constructive critisim. You more than most should know SAS, DBs and alike are working to find the best solution and the best we can do is offer our suggestions and solutions, not flames of anger.

May I add that the sub category icons could be a ikle bit simpler to look at, I found myself with my eye on the monitor to decifer te FPS one particularly, the sport one is nice and simple though. In other news, not really a problem but thought id point out the drop down forum menu at the bottom, repeats the groupings due to the structure, like

--Techinical

not a big problem just alerting to the fact so you can see if you can sort it, just out of neatening it up.

sowwy for my rant, I know it's not my place but it just annoyed me.

Sometimes lad I do wonder if you could kiss arse any harder. I say the vBpad isnt exactly the greatest innovation ever, you love it, and so on

Teh forums are faster, they look nicer. Whats your problem with them?

1) There not faster as you now have to load another page to navigate to a subsection
2) They dont look nicer, bold yellow "Online" sucks my nuts

Theres a rake more, but i've made suggestions before & been ignored, now will be no different so yeah i'm not gonna bend over backwards to do the "nice guy" thing i've tried before cos it don't work.

Just note how both you and I now have mentioned that the link under the fortressnation section of these forums is wrong, yet its still the same, doesn't get changed, story of BWs life atm.

That is not quite true. Remember, we have more work to do now with a lot less staff (EB/GAME/BT/BW).

I am working on the forums, trying to make them better, trying to figure out the frontpage, but there is only so much I can do in a day esp with me looking after all the hosting/hosted sites.

Yes, the frontpage is naffish, but we aim to fix it, in time...

Well then may I suggest that you, and any other staff memeber that feels the same way, mention to the "powers that be" (only chet will get the irony of that) that there aren't enough people on board. I'd be more than happy to tell them the exact same.

Right in perfect conditions the forums are faster, however Blueyonder problesm with web pages plus the BW problesm tonight (well it disapeared of the net tonight) seem to have really fux0red the forums tonight.
