I've got one from the 70s that cost probably 3€ current money. Thermos are one of those things that don't get ny better after a certain price range, unless you want to show off your BMW cockomatic.

Size, demand of volume, comfort of carry. There's your price range ;)

I think the main difference to look out for is shockproofing - the basic ones shatter real easy leaving you with coffee full of shards of glass - yummy!

I have an excellent 1 pint Thermos mug for camping, keeps it warm in all weather.

I'm on the lookout for a decent thermos flask for car journeys. Not sure what size I want. Half a litre sounds about right.

Keeps stuff hot for 24 hours.

Anyone recommend a particular product they've used? (and don't say a coffee shop or service station or I will smack you round the head with a rotting fox head)

Looks good, I was going to ask something similar but this looks just the ticket.
