Damini's thread reminded me of a "rack your brains" problem of my own...
It's very very old, I remember watching it when I was a lot younger. It's about (or centres around) a gadget freak.
Below are the specifics of what I remember about it:
- he has a model railway running out from his house to his postbox (through a little catflap-like thing iirc) so he doesn't have to go outside to get his mail.
- he has a car that splits down the middle (front to back) and then an extra steering wheel comes out of the glovebox so each half can be independantly controlled.
- he had dark hair.
I so don't remember it that I can't even recall if it's a TV show or a film.
I'm curiously geeky about this sort of thing (gadgets and slightly nerdy contraptions) - I once made a Lego device that managed to strike a match for a, um... we'll call it an incendiary device (obviously I wanted to be like, far away at the time). I'm don't know why I'm saying this but it's a good example, I think.
