Well, it's either a hippo or something smaller stamping about in a pair of Doc Martens. Woke me up this morning and can still here it skittering around now, god know what it is....

I'm just waiting for the missus to get back from her parents with the stepladders and Im going up there with my +1 bat of house defence.

It's been nice knowing you all........

<gulp>

I agree rat/mice most likely answer, but I have 2 friends, hundreds of miles apart, that have reported squirrels in their attic in the last 2 weeks, so you never know.

It's probably a giraffe, possibly with his elephant friends.

I had them scurrying noises in my loft last year.

It was rats.

I killed them.

It's stealthed up there. couldnt spot it.

Not sure how a rat would have got up there tbh. Might be birds?

If it exists a rat can get there. They can climb pretty much anything. They're amazing little bastards.

this is why i booby trap my room with various lethal devices. I'm not going to say what just to ensure TdC can't disarm them.

With regard to noises in the loft we had noises for a while then they stopped suddenly. Went up and found a dead squirrel which had pissed off a wasp nest. Nasty way to go!

It could well be squirrels ... they tend to try and find somewhere warm to nest this time of year ... get them out before they have babies in March/April!!

It's true, he comes to me for DIY tips.

*flexes*

Pffft, you are a southerner hence you don't do DIY because it will ruin your nail polish :eek:

Besides the one time I did listen to you it almost ended up with me having a detached retina and eyelids on the inside :eek:
