Very happy with the result, Maybe its is just scotland, but a hell of a confidence booster expesh with Wilkinsons performance and for the whole team together with Vickery as Captain and Ashton as coach.

Wilkinson played very well, expescially as he has only played 60 minutes of rugby in last 3 months, looked very nervous singing the national anthem and me and my mates were taking bets etc but he did really well in the end.

Good to see Tindall back, along with Robinson, although, we didn't get to see them with much ball because Farrel kept it with forwards and Tindall it seemed, but when they did get the ball and ran it looked very promising.

Look forward to tommorow and Ireland vs Wales.

Well the commentators creamed themselves over him when he just passed the ball to the next receiver. 7 games of union and he walks into the england team says it all really. Wilkinsons try was never a try, his knee was clearly in touch, but I guess with England being at home and his return to internationals they had to give it. Thought Wilkinson looked dangerous with ball in hand and although he was in touch for his try, the actual movement from him was top drawer. He needs to sort out his tackling technique though, it is absolutely shocking. He cannot get his head in the right place, I wouldnt mind but its schoolboy stuff, the first thing they teach you when tackling.

What annoys me most about northern hemisphere rugby union, is they dont know how to attack. They just pass the ball down the line and a hope a defender falls over or misses a tackle. They just dont run "rugby league" lines, like the aussies and New Zealanders do.

I still think they have a long way to go. They are certainly capable of winning the 6N if they catch Ireland on an off day, but the world cup they have no chance.

Robinson is just a freak though. Remember playing against him in the national rugby league under 18s cup. Wigan let him play as he was only in their academy He played for hunslet parkside boys at scrum half and scored 14 tries, all of them from the base of the scrum

You mean "They're back"?

No. I think he means it like in a superhero way; "There! Back!" as if shouting to Batman that the Incrdeible Backman is "there" :D

EDIT: Just noticed but Incredible BAckman sounds like Vlad :eek6:
