Well i'd imagine since we blew a fuse or two that the gravity is busted as well.

To put it in technical terms; the cargobay at this moment is most likely a galactic game of pong with unstable containers of boomjuice.

Right well then I think oxygen and gravity should be our main concern.

If we don't do these things then we won't be alive long enough to find out what happened to the captain and whether the loss of systems was simply an accident it something more.

Boom boxes and gravity... Dunno about you lot but boxes hitting the floor sounds likely to start the next big bang, with us. Oxygen and lights. We need to see what we're dealing with.

I agree with G, if those containers aint strapped down. Turning on the gravity could bring about an earlier demise than desired.

Yep. I'm with Meg on that too. Plus, if anyone's a cunt0r then it limits their opportunities. Everyone in buddy system K?

Who wants to come with me and my nice orange jumpsuit? :)

After carefull examination, the crew quickly come to realize that all failed systems have been tampered with somehow, by someone or ones.
even to the untrained eye, it's obviose that any attempt to fix anything but the engine and basic navigation atm is out of the question.

Dayum. A saboteur. :(

And one with suicidal tendencies at that. Who cuts off his own oxygen supply? A madman?

Lets all poon over to Navigation eh? If we can figure out what is nearby there may be hope of rescue and/or help. Or maybe a habitable planet that we can get to if we fix the engines before the oxygen runs out.

No time to lose people! Lets get a shuft on!! I want to get this figured out before we all get too tired and need to kip. Don't fancy a night's sleep with a maniac on the loose.

Great, so our best chance is maybe fly a boom box filled ship around... I knew I should have voted for that presidential candidate who was going to raise taxes to make escape pods mandatory...

Right so, toht days the cargo bday is dangerous because the gravity is off. Yet you don't want to turn the gravity on either? Also why are fossil fuels dangerous? The containers they are in shouldn't matter.what are you not telling us Toht?

Pressure. I did mention it before. This isn't your great grandfathers oil canister, this is a high pressure tincan which holds double the volume and double the fun.

It's not so much a leak or two i'm -that- concerned for, but if there's any open flame or electricity running when one of those canisters starts spewing goo around like a martian pornstar then we have a fun time. Then there's the small matter of what happens to a half a ton canister when it's propelled in 0-G, but as said, that's the smaller potato.

As far as oxygen cutting goes, we do have a possibility that our saboteur doesn't need it.

So, what you're saying there is that Mabs is favourite for our saboteur since it's a robot? Like HAL?

Come on Daisy Mabs. Get yourself plugged into something. A tin-can like you must have a use.

Actually. I'm growing suspicious now Toht. You've made a good point.

I've asked whether Mabs can be plugged in before, but no answer. But he tried to cast a shadow over Raven - saying the engineer is the one most likely to tinker.

So, fess up time. What can you actually do Mr Robot that probably doesn't need oxygen? What is your purpose on board this floating soon-to-be-grave?

Well. Night is approaching and nobody seems to feel the same urgency that I do. WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF OXYGEN FFS!

I for one am convinced by Toht's argument and @Mabs' silence. And since Mabs is just a collection of nuts, bolts and silicone chips it seems safe to remove its power supply. Perhaps in a way that is re-attachable if we desparately need it? But if it IS a HAL-wannabee then I'd sure feel a lot safer with the off-switch hit.

Vote: Mabs.

At least someone wants to preserve their own life :(

So you agree with toht based on no evidence at all and want to kill mabs?

I want to turn mabs off. Not really kill it. And I reckon doing something is better than doing nothing.

And at the end of the day it's a robot. Not a human. So where's the harm?

Also evidence - the oxygen is OFF. We're ALL going to die unless we can get it back on or get the ship somewhere else. And nobody seems to want to go to navigation with me - and as I look about everyone is yawning. We're dead tired on our feet. Sleep soon. If it turns out it's a robo-maniac that wants to kill us by asphyxiation...??

ALSO! It's a robot that's refusing to answer any questions. What kind of "useful tool" is that?

Sorry where was the confirmation he us a robot?

I still l don't buy tohts explanation if the cargo bay situation either. Mystic and you have bought it without a second thought.

He was all "bah weep granah weep ninni bong" earlier, before speaking english later on. Maybe he's a protocol droid or maybe he's just a shiftless tin can. Knock on his forehead and see if he goes "ding" if you must.

As for toht's explanation. I don't buy that either - not without verification. But first things first - we need to know where we're at - and for that I say we need to go to navigation. Oxygen, not cargo, is the priority - and as we can't fix the O2 that leaves us with either finding somewhere to go or putting out some sort of distress call. Navigation is my vote, but I want to go before I fall asleep, only to be murdered...

What have you got to show any reason to doubt what he says? Also why are you grouping me with Scouse? What's your role on this barge?

I've taken the view that the containers are dangerous so I don't care if Toht is telling the truth or not, things formerly exposed to radioactive material that is now banned are hardly going to be safe, regardless of what's actually in them.

Mabs please identify your origins.

I'm not really for voting based on the little bit of information we have, but I agree we should be trying to sort out the navigation as a priority. Heading in some direction is better than not moving at all.

As for me I keep the mess hall in order.

I will wander about and see if I can remember how to fix anything. I will pay special attention to the gravity system.

I think its a little early to vote for anyone really. See what happens tonight.

Funny. You're a robot and you're still not answering any questions. My vote is in mainly because of that and further ignoring me solidifies my stance. It's not set in stone, but your explanation would need to be good.

Regardless. @MYstIC G, @Calaen @Ch3tan - join me in Navigation? I'm going there forthwith. @Raven too? You may be able to shed some light. Maybe O2 isn't your speciality, and there's strength in numbers...

on the note of splitting up, we have 8 crew left, and youre all assuming whoever it was acted alone ? so potentially youre putting 2 people in danger ? awfully cavalier......

who needs gravity anyway, sort the life support first tbh

People don't have to believe me, i haven't been to the cargobay so, educated guesswork.

I'd also start with engines as navigation won't do squat if you can't push yourself.

Woa, what's happened here, and why's no-one noticed my lack of presence, it would seem to me that someone is tampering with the ship, but surely that's suicide?

Anyway, let's get the ship sorted and organise a priority list, and sort it like that, IMO, I'm going with Mabs to say Life Support over Gravity, I mean, who actually needs gravity?

I think your accusations of Mabs were a little bit... fast, @Scouse, I can't see much evidence to back up what you're trying to put across, but hey, my ears are open.

Nobody needs gravity... since it can't be fixed...

And Toht... what use is going in a straight line if you have no idea where you're going?
